Usually being interesting = having life experiences. 99% of the population doesn't care what albums you've heard or what books you've read. This is partly because it's not very impressive to have heard an album, and partly because they need to be familiar with the same shit you are in order to have an idea what the fuck you're talking about. Conversely, most people will find it interesting when you can share stories about places you've been, things you've made or done, events you've been a part of etc. It especially helps if you can relate your experiences in a way that's concise and understandable. Basically, you need to do be actually doing shit not consuming media for people to find you interesting.
