and I think it's a reflection of, not necessarily this board, but 4chan in general. If you post a masked grinch before you die, you become a martyr, a meme, you become well-known. Essentially he's saying there are people who want to be 'clean' -- pure of heart, soul, etc -- but because of the people they live (on the planet) with, who are essentially apes who hurl shit at each other, it's hard if not impossible for people to be as 'clean' as they'd like to be.

anyway OP I think what manson is really trying to say is that it's hard to remain a superior being (manson) when surrounded by inferior beings (apes). I always got the impression from that line that he thought he was better than the masses but was forced to live with them because this is the planet we're all stuck on.
