Sure, the Stairway to Heaven riff sounds like that Taurus song, Dazed and Confused is an uncredited cover version and they copied a bunch of blues songs.

As did Elvis and as did the Beatles(especially in the early days) and no one can deny those artists as very influential.

Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page in particular) are also responsible for developing new studio recording techniques. Its not just "oh wow le cool metal riff" kind of influential. They shaped how a rock and roll studio album should sound.

I can understand their music not appealing to you but denying their influence on rock and popular music and accusing them of theft when every modern artist owes something to James Brown fro example is quite a ridiculous claim.
