Panic attacks are getting more frequent, now I even wake up at night with jaw and neck pain, can someone recommend music for the 40 mins ~ 1 hour until the benzos kick in?
I like post-rock, downtempo. ambient, but really anything is accepted

I listen to Kid A every night because it helps me sleep for some reason
I recommend Grateful Dead for anxiety. It's helped me, I have the jaw pain stuff too if I get anxious, along with out physical symptoms.

I also listen to Kid A when I'm anxious! it really helps. The only other Radiohead album which does the trick for me, to help me calm down is A Moon Shaped Pool

I also get this feeling that I'm going to pass out, also neck pain and the obvious heart palpitations. Do you get this too? Also recently I've lost some weight because of lack of appetite.

Clonazepam, I take 4 x 0.5 mg pills a day now, yeah the situation is dire.

pussy faggot, suffering is the best part, it makes the benzos feel that much better
>>68683050
I don't use them recreationally, I actually need them, and as the suffering grows it fucks with my mind, I have social and speech problems because of it.

I'm sorry to hear that anon, have you tried professional help? I'm going to my psychiatrist tomorrow
>>68683096
It sucks that it's bad enough that you need to take them. Benzo withdrawal is the worst psychological hell you can possibly imagine, even if you aren't already mentally fucked to begin with. There's no good solution for people like you. At least you're doing in necessarily, lots of people just fuck with them cause it makes them feel good and then they get destroyed.

I would've accepted it if the anxiety would stay at the same levels as it was for the past 6 years, but it's growing strong now, I've gone from 1 pill a day to 4 in 12 months.

Early ambient Aphex Twin is nice for relaxing. thanks

I do when I'm at home not during my semester
the entire The Secret album by WJSN
>>68683553
I'm the opposite, my psychiatrist is in the city where my university is + anxiety interferes with studies so it's a more important time to treat it in the semester I think.

one of my favourites this year. very comfy too.
many basinski pieces relax me during anxiety attacks, namely variations: a movement in chrome primitive, all of the disentegration loops, el camino real, 92982, and vivan & ondine. i also find taiga remains' wax canopy excellent at gnawing away at the anxious white noise that often rattles my head. i would recommend a few slowcore albums as well, but they rarely outright negate or ease my anxiety/depression as much as they do give me a channel of catharsis that i wouldn't have otherwise.

Check out Stars of the Lid for some good drone ambient. Mostly made with string instruments instead of synths.
