whats /mu/ onion on Californian Lo-Fi punk music?
Does it make you cry?
I got into it a couple months ago and pretty much love Wavves as its the only genre and artist I listen to now for some reason.

I absolutely loved wavves when he first came out and I think he peaked at King of the Beach. Life Suxx was a very good follow up and Afraid of Heights is just good. His newest album was totally forgettable though and it seems like Nathan is happy just fucking around with various side projects now
It's part of the wider garage rock revival scene of southern California.
Wavves is okay, but Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segall are better overall. They're all friends so it's cool.
First three Wavves albums are great, but starting with King of the Beach its not really lo-fi.
Nate is an unintelligent drug addict though.

King of the Beach is one of the greatest theses on the popular music history of Southern California.
Ty Segall is the only one I really like. Wavves is okay, Fidlar is shit

I'm from Florida and I enjoy them but I hope they come here for a tour or something.

I live in Chicago and have seen wavves here like 9 times

Fidlar is dope, pull the pole out of your ass

The only songs FIDLAR made IMO were Max Cant't Surf and Cocaine, all the rest pretty much just sound trendy and pop-punk.
The Frights and Together Pangaea are dope
