I think that offset guitars are pretty cool, they had their time in the 60s and surf rock, they came back in the 90s with the grunge and punk scene, and now they are back. i don't see anyrhing wrong, they are just trending, and honestly i consider a strat a more "obvious" guitar than an offset like a jaguar or a jazzmaster, but no one has to complain about that, so I don't see why jaguars are "meme guitars"
