I loved them at FYF. They're good music to put on at work.

I don't see how everyone thinks Beach House are so bland. They have pretty dramatic arrangements honestly. And a distinctive sound.

I don't think their good songs are THAT repetitive.. listening to them now, I'm not sure their albums are engaging enough for home listen, but I still enjoy them on a car ride or something. Where you can sort of get into the repetition, appreciate the slow development/build-up of instrumental and vocal parts, and what some people see as plodding along seems more like soaring.
