If you like happy synthpop sung by a clear and pretty-sounding female vocalist, you'd dig them. Chvrches' first album is significantly better than their second, the album that was made by a cookie-cutter song machine, but both are pretty good.

If you go into it hoping to like them as people, it'll depend on whether you're a fan of the singer's social justice platform and her bandmates' doormat stances on everything. It's up to you, man--I like 'em, but enough people floating around here think Chvrches are a burning sack of garbage, so judge for yourself

Their first album is really good and there are a handful of great songs off of their second release. Overall, I enjoy them. Seriously tho if you think they have a lot of great songs, than they ARE actually really good, as far as you should be concerned.
