I really enjoyed this album as well as The Mantle, but the harsh vocals are a turnoff for me. I can't really appreciate that style at all. Does anyone know of any bands or albums that do music in this style, but without the harsh vocals or even preferably with no vocals whatsoever? I'd really appreciate any recommendations you guys can think of.
Mostly acoustic but give it a shot won't ya

Unfortunately Agalloch's sound is pretty unique to them. And the bands that sound even similar to them usually have harsh vocals in them.
Check out Old Silver Key, kind of similar, they have sung vocals instead of harsh vocals.
Also, The Third and the Mortal, they have a female vocalist and were an influence on Agalloch's sound.
Really can't help you beyond that.
Alcest maybe
Wind's Poem by Mount Eerie
It reminds me a lot of Hum, particularly this album

Ashes Against the Grain is so underrated.
Death In June, easy. Agalloch completely copied him.
Thanks for all the recs lads. Going to bump one more time before going to bed in case anyone else can post.

I'm reasonably certain that pic related has clean vocals, and is very similar musically.
