This place is going to shit and there's so much new that they're already taking up most of the board
is there any other place to go? one where they actually talk about music?
This place never actually changes does it?

other than a slight increase in tripfags everything seems the same as it was 5 years ago
i dunno, keeping up with just how shitty this board keeps getting is pretty amusing
you've now got unironic 21 pilots thread, unironic sum 41 threads, unironic nu-metal threads
people unironically saying sia is their favorite artist, people unironically saying disturbed is their favorite band
and all these people are well on their way to becoming the main part of this board rather than a minority, drowning out and driving out the post-ironic /mu/ memers of old
in its own way it's a pretty entertaining thing to behold
it's not like this board deserves a more dignified fate anyway

there is no where else. try to find good friends and talk about music there.
the board never really changed though
maybe you're just projecting anon
From 2011-2013 I remember being able to count on there being at least 2 daily hardcore or punk threads but other than that's it's remained relatively the same.. minority of musically expressive individuals and a bunch of cockriders who want to appear ahead of the curve from their friends irl so they feign liking whatever /mu/ likes

I have never met anyone that listens to the amount of music I do in real life
The best conversation I've had with someone regarding music was with a tripcode on omegle

>where did everything go so wrong
guess what year the "feels" meme started
>>68311191
Hate to break it to you but /mu/ started in 2006
>>68311223
2011?
>>68311247
True, but the userbase that would eventually make up early /mu/ was still here on 4chan

I assume yotsuba being in the 2005 spot is supposed to be a 404, so that anon did acknowledge that the board didnt exist then.

This place is shit
Eric Endre picture.
Implying you aren't part of the problem
>>68311375
Actually, it was more a perfect image of the mindset of the average poster on 4chan, then the next image was a artistic representation of the music we listened to.

unironic era a SHIT
>>68311506
It had a purity this era of irony has lost, and with it, that childlike joy.
Most adults are children that just learn what to do in order to appear like they fit in what they all told each other was the grown up world.
We actually grew up and lost our neverlands, though.
