SG's are great, for sure. Just like mine more than my Les Paul, for reasons I can't quite explain that well. It resonates more when I play it, I can just feel it, it's more "alive" if you will. Also far more comfortable to play in nearly every position you can play a guitar in.

If you want to store different loops and switch between them, there are lots that do that. I personally recommend Digitech Jamman SXT. If you want to activate different loops at tge same time, you're gonna have to put some money on the table.

What does /gg/ recommend for a guitar+amp, or any extra equipment? I really want a Fender, but obviously a strat is way too expensive. I was considering a Squier or maybe a used Mexican Strat. As for the amp I've got no idea.

If serious and not troll, because it will likely be complete crap. Theres more to a guitar than electronics. It will likely play like shit, and some things like a neck warp, dead/uneven frets, shitty truss rod, intonation, tuning, etc are not worth the hassle.

If you go that route, buy a more inexpensive model of the brand you want and mod that. like an epiphone or mim fender. Instrument production has gotten a lot better and most of the mim fenders, squiers, epi's, etc ive played are pretty great minus the electronics.

Well like i said in a previous post, instrument manufacturing has gotten a lot better and you can get pretty solid ass guitars from china. When you buy something cheap its a crapshoot sometimes and you can get a real shitty one or a pretty fucking awesome one. A company like SX will at least have some sort of return policy too.

vintage guitars are memeguitars....theyre romanticized a lot but a lot of them probably fucking sucked. The coronado design wasnt too great to begin with, and with handmade stuff sometimes someone's having a bad day and that may be the day that guitar was made.

That red yamaha rgx I posted legitimately plays better than my american standard strat. Yamahas do have thin necks though. if you want a chunky neck go for a peavey raptor or something
