Some finds from the last thread:
>Nathan Original ft. Emperor Timeline - Can't Sleep Standing: really good man! You have such a natural flow. I love the beat, and the contrast of the uplifting tunes and the really depressing lyrics is nice. Keep it up dude, I'll keep listening.
https://hhhome.bandcamp.com/album/confused-nothing
home - nothing: I'd love for you to bring your vocals out a little bit more, maybe sing in a higher register. I love the instrumentals, with the drum beat, and especially that guitar line at the end.
https://pinkpots.bandcamp.com/
Pink Pots - The Same As: I love all these funky sounds on here, especially in the chorus(?) with that whistling sound. I'd say to push your voice a little bit more, make it LOUDER. Not just mixing it higher, but really deliver it! Put that emo-ness in it. I like the vocals anyways, but give it some oomph.
https://awkwardbullshit.bandcamp.com/album/buried-in-the-bed
First Thought Worst Thought - 7 am: Has anyone ever told you that you sound like Adam Driver? I really like this. I'm kinda upset we're on the same label because it draws a comparison between the two of us. I like that you have this folk-y base to it, but you add on-- variety is something folk kinda lacks sometimes. I also love your percussion. I downloaded it. When I get money, I'll buy it, but I'm a broke college kid, so I'm very sorry.
So now for my self-promotion shit:

If you were to listen to any one song, listen to Flour Child.
Also, what's a good recording software for effects and stuff? I'm just using Audacity and it is straight up bare bones.
Anyways, thanks for listening. I hope you scroll past this and check out the music I commented on.

There's definitely quality here. You've got some strong stuff with your songs - both melodically and lyrically. I see your point about the recording though. I use audacity too, and my recommendation would be to try and get away from it. The more you try to do with it, the worse it gets. That said, your vocals sound well recorded and totally fine actually (great singing btw). For the guitars, I'd recommend using https://www.cheatography.com/fredv/cheat-sheets/eq-tips/ this site as a guide to add some shine to them and cut out the muddiness - you'll hear the actual chord structure a bit more and it'll bring out the musicality of these songs. I really liked pre-summer blues btw!

Do you really think 5 is too much? I mean, it's a lot of content and I worked a long time on it. What do you think would be a better price?
>>68281290
I feel that charging 2 or 3 bucks for a digital download its the "sweet spot", like a lot more people would buy it and you would make more. (well if they really like it they will still pay whatever you charge, but your understand my point).
> It's a lot of content and I worked a long time on it
like most of us, its really hard to put price to your own music. I feel that name your price is still the best option for "underground bandcamps" (at least in my case, im not as talented as you, so probably im wrong and you should charge those 5 bucks haha).

Definitely. The songs are already written, all I need is some time to save up for better recording equipment. That's concerning the next full length anyways, if I need more than a year then I have some songs lined up for one last lo-fi EP that I could easily shoot out for 2017 if need be.
