I am a newfag here, someone teach me how to /mu/ i like this board after like 3 minutes.

Panic! at the disco is my all time favourite band, but i hide it
Read the sticky (use the archive) and lurk

Quit listening to Panic at the Disco. and Dont even bring it up if its a dirty pleasure thread. Get used to this shit (Pic related). And get used to listening to entire albums. Learn the different types of genres from lurking and just enjoy the music you find. My favorite genre ive found so far is definitely post-rock. This Album in particular is my favorite by Godspeed! You Black Emperor.

just accustom yourself to the type of music that is typically discussed here. Find some /mu/core charts and go from there.
But also listen to what >>68261309 said.

but my guilty pleasure is now lana del rey after discovering that she has to be a guilty pleasure.

>teach me how to /mu/
wat?
Lurk more.
Or, if you want to be a /mu/ drone, memorise the /mu/-core collage and post about the albums on it all the time and call everything else shit but never actually listen to anything and never make a valid argument. Also say 'art' and 'subjective' all the time.
Lurk a lot.
Learn a bit about different genres.
Listen to at least the /mu/core and sub-/mu/core section of pic related; those albums are pretty important for discussion on this bed.

board, not bed. I'm tired as shit. lol
>he's a /b/tard

been on 4chan since 2004, been on /mu/ as long as it's been a thing
1)stop apologising for taste
2)listen to more shit. Have a look at the 'essential X' collages, maybe essential /mu/-core, most of it is okay
3)don't posture

Both of these! But I want to reinforce "don't posture", like if you start just pretending to like shit or have the mindset of "accessibility=bad" and don't just use /mu/ to find music you genuinely like then you're just going to be a piece of shit who is just wasting their time
before you will be allowed in, you must first listen to the best album ever recorded:
blind date by john duncan

Why exactly?
