I listened to Coloring Book again recently and it really doesn't hold up at all. The production just sounds bad on many of the tracks, it falls into generic tropes of trap rap far too many times, and Chance's rapping just isn't as potent as it was on Acid Rap.
Danny Brown easily made the superior rap album this year and I can't believe it hasn't been as acclaimed as Coloring Book.

Also Skeleton Tree is the best of the 9.0+s this year.
