dave matthews is the single most widely-hated artist of his generation. so it is a testament to how bad his music is that he never developed a postpostpostneoironic following like other widely hated bands/albums. metal machine music has its defenders, but not dave fucking matthews. he is just too bad, there is nothing to be done with him
