This is honestly debatable.

Personally I believe you can subjectively take what you want and learn from the music you listen to (Looking inside and not outside for you're healing). It's only corrupt if you tell yourself that it is. Love is the only true god anyhow, but that's the spiritual journey: Figuring out what love is.

By the way, Robbie Basho, Joanna Newsom, Donavan and Van Morrison all have beliefs in the same "Source" as we do, and many times I have listened to their music and have found it deeply relatable towards my own experience and trials.

Robbie Basho has some great tunes. He was connected.

A young Joanna Newsom had a great gift, was truly angelic in her harp playing and singing. Things changed since she got her first record deal because all of her recorded albums are truly horrible and not connected at all. They're disjointed, disconnected, unappealing in every way.

Donavan and Van Morrison..music for baby-boomers.

Lots of people believe in the "source" it doesn't mean their music represents it.
