I'm a pleb. I like music, but I don't always understand

I would recommend Rage Against The Machine's first album if you want to under stand rap better & you listen to rock. If you want to expand further into rock or metal I recommend Pantara, Acid bath, Dax Riggs, Opeth & falconer. I dont listen to much hip hop. though I guess snoop dog, notorious BIG, 2 PAC & the wotang clan might be a good start.
