What is the lenght MU prefer to read on of album review? Short like the guardian or somewhat long like pitchfork.
Personally I like somewhere in the middle

I am sure you're speacial snowflake darling
I like them short and concise. Sometimes p4k reviews are really well-written and thought-provoking but that is rare. Most of the time it seems like they are bullshitting and trying too hard / grasping at straws. Their write-ups for albums on their end-of-year lists are usually better than the actual reviews. I've noticed that the New Yorker is pretty good at writing about albums, but they only write about one album every few weeks.
But honestly I feel like the Fantano method is the best. For some reason I feel like writing about music always comes across as pretentious, as people are always trying to one-up each other about how smart they sound, how "ahead of the curve" they are. With people just talking/vlogging/broadcasting about albums it gives it a way more organic feel. Just giving their honest opinion.
I'm pretty drunk right now so I hope this makes sense lol
