ITAOTS has religious themes, but it's not religious music. Jeff is most likely an atheist, and a lot of the references to religion in the album are being of the Anne Frank-setting.

This album on the other hand is describe as Christian-rock. It's not really a good comparison. It'd be like comparing The Seventh Seal and God's Not Dead.
