>instrumental hip hop
I love this guys stuff
>acoustic, bedroom, singer-songwriter, love songs
>shugazi, slowcore, fuzzpop
good morning. im going to grab a coffee and listen to your guys' stuff.
Not Bad. I could zone out listening to Tiger Island.
I also started a group for ambient horror if anyone is interested.

Returning all feedback
garage/psych/alt rock etc
Whats up. Just made a new track.
Will listen to you guys after dinner and will send some feedback via pm on sc.
Thanks for listening :D:D:D:D
>house, techno, outsider, lo-fi
>Beats, Ambient, Kill Yourself, Synth, Metro-ko
Chill stuff, deep and dynamic, nice.
Emo stuff can be hit and miss for me, but I like this.
more from me.
This shit is smooth as fuck. Great sample choice.
>synthwave, newretrowave, retrowave, newretro, outrun, 80s electronica, mulletwave, redm
>probably the best of a kind on /mu/
Pretty fresh track - it still needs some love guys!!!
feel free to check out the rest of my tracks
Returning all feedback on soundcloud!
good stuff, check it!
listening to fun right now; chorus is awesome. vocals on verses could maybe be a lil louder but in all the heavy parts of the song everything is rad. digigng this quite a bit.
nice, listening to same thought right now. liking the little "ding" pattern in the background, string/pad entrance is cool. you've got a good sense of balance between your various instruments, n where you're directing the ear (i liked that part where [i think} you dropped out the bass part (before the filter sweep) especially.
dropping a new track today
>hip hop, rap
very chill; reminds me of boards of canada and blade runner. i feel like the drums could maybe pop a little more through the synths when they enter? i know they're like, a lo fi sample, but maybe a subtle side chain for the snare especially? idk, not a big issue.
either way, i'm digging this, will be coming back to when i'm high to vibe out too
new track! tried to make something 2step/uk garage-ish but i guess some practice is required. any feedback is welcome!
reccing all of these!
yesssss; this is awesome. even for something like emo that's usually pretty lo fi, i think vocals could pop a little more in this mix, since hte rest does a little bit, so it'd fit better.
aside from that, loving it. everything's got character, feels modern but still very 90s emo.
>Relaxing and Groovy
Don't know what genre this falls under desu
Electronique Danse Musique
Please, also check out my website if you like what you hear. www.plan-t-music.com, any feedback is greatly appreciated
Not bad for a beginner, you need to work on balancing your elements. You have lots of nice sounds, but things don't feel glued together yet.
You'll get there. Take a track you like, put it along side at the same volume and try to place things the same depth in the mix.
Cool stuff for a starter though.
>dark, chill, psychedelic
It's the dark side of the summer of love
>Piano and drums
Will return all follows!
Singer/Songwriter, Feedback very appreciated. I make weird glitchy beats and folk music, Grand.
Large variety of shit on here. Two remixes blew up to 35k plays, very proud of those. The real gold is in the Originals playlist though (Shinomori is my favorite). Let me know what you think.
>new demo out December
i cant really define my music by genre, i would appriciate it if you listen
actually pretty good, though I think it would be a little more effective if it was longer and the different sections didn't just fly by and come in so suddenly. Though it''s a really a great start and had some strong atmosphere. I especially like the synths towards the end. But I don't like how it just teeters out.
This was really fun. Liked the production it felt pretty lo-fi. The rapping/singing is pretty good. Chill and nice.
Much spookiness coming from this. It actually made me legitimately nervous. Sort of almost could work for like a haunted dance party. Though there are some parts that kinda border on brostep.
Catchy as fuck, but not a fan on the down pitched voice. Middle section is the peak. This is actually awesome as fuck. Could see it playing in a club if it were a little heavier.
Reminds me a lot of New Age. Pretty good but I find blissfull ambient very hard to get into. (Still seems good.)
So far I feel relaxed with the opening. I'm in the middle now. This is fucking awesome. I'm probably gonna follow you.
kinda okay. Not my favorite but I can see what your trying to do. Good job though.
Honestly it makes me think of some weird russian club. Still good though.
Nice playing, I like the almost crunchy sound of the guitars. The drum is nice but a little wooden. Vocals are pretty nice, really fit well with the instruments. You actually sound like a classic folk singer from the 60's. I'm not really digging the lyrics but your deliveries are selling them.
It's okay, a little simple but for your first time it's solid.
Anyway if anyone want to listen to my EXTREAMLY SHORT (5 min) EP
I'll give feedback to ANYONE that gives me feedback.
I'm the guy who posted the Vaporwave EP
Trippy as fuck opening, already digging it. Kinda haunting vocals. Really like the atmosphere. Kinda makes me think of the future. I personally prefer the electronic noises to the snaps and claps. But other than that this is pretty damn good. Gonna probably smoke weed to this.
(I should add that I'm listening to your remix.)
I dunno man, maybe I'm just getting old. But I just don't understand the appeal of vaporwave. You've got some interesting things going on I'll admit, but as a whole it does nothing for me. Is it just supposed to be mashing and chopping and generally fucking with samples?
>>60180294 Hey, this is pretty sick. Love how the more ambient sounds contrast with the glitched percussion.
>>60179899 Holy fuck this is tight. This is what death sounds like. When the beat comes in though, dear lord. Have mercy!
Listened to Plead & Run. Making me feel like I'm in the apocaplyse. Loving these vibes. Reminds me of $uicideboy$. Keep it up man.
Definitely feelin this. Where do you get your samples from?
Real shit. Love this. Would be cool to work with you.
Overall really solid, I think the kick could cut through a bit more though, especially when you've got the sub going.
If anyone's interested in checking my stuff out in return: >>60180984
new project if anyone has a chance to check it out
>Telecasters + Vocals + Drum Machines
>Edgelord Meme-Nihilist NEET no lifer cunt
interesting. no one's ever compared my music brostep before, but what the hell i'll take it
your shit has some pretty dope ideas, and plays out like the less-structured vaporwave a la macintosh plus. on the flipside i feel like your songs could use more development or layers in general, they still sound like sketches to me instead of songs
Dope art. Dope beats
I love the different sounds I'm hearing on carbinary
>"I don't know what the hell i am"
please tell me anything i am desperate for criticism.
>80s Sci fi movie soundtrack shit
>Van halen wannabe tapped pentatonic guitar wanking.
so I have been producing for about a year
and this is my most recent track
still not really sure if I should continue or give up
I'd love some feedback on it, which I'm returning all ways!
Thanks dude as others have said you got the boards of canada sound down maybe try to to mix it louder?
Thanks man I appreciate it a lot also THANK YOU for putting constructive criticism in the thread rather than on the clouds ill take it into consideration when putting the whole thing on bandcamp
>a love song for my girlfriend
> Silent Hill 2
I just started learning music prod a few weeks ago, this song took about 4 full days to put together. Different from yours but I enjoy both the abstract and song-y stuff.
>dat Burial garage
We are a weird 3-piece stoner rock band from canada, and just started a soundcloud account to share some of the demos
we recorded. I would love to hear some feedback for what we've got so far.
Recorded this in my basement studio with the few mics I have, on an old analog mixer that has a bunch of stuff wrong with it
sorry i didn't get around to it earlier (I met an old friend)
Anyway this is pretty nice so far. I like the piano, the electronic sounds in the background work pretty well but I think they're a bit too "watery" for me. I like that layers are being added to the beats and the synth gets more interesting and crisp as the song continues.
As much as I like it I think it drags on a bit. That might be though that I just had a long day.
Keep up the good work!
If anyone likes StVincent I've just posted a cover of her on my YT, let me know what you think

I strangely liked the world is green.
>glitchy/noisy/ambient/improvised synth jams
>Soundtracks to films that don't exist
Fairly new to this kind of thing so any feedback would be really appreciated!
yooo this is sweet, could have maybe switched up the melody line in another section or something to add a bit of spice but a solid banger.
listened to skeleton belly and liked it bros, got a really nice groove
>anime related stuff, weeby mixes, some beats
Thanks again, anon. Loving the Lexbo vibes. FEELin it for sure.
don't mind me, posting a test-thingy
Got another track as of a few minutes ago, a riffy little teaser for another song on this upcoming album. Was wondering what y'all thought.
Instrumentals, i dont know what to call it. maybe shit-hop.
Still the same shit but I uploaded two new clips, was hoping for feedback.
>will return any feedback!

This one was supposed to be a a piano piece but turned out to be a lo fi spooky soundtrack to some Z-grade horror, would LOVE some feedback on it
Just posted this, thoughts?
> hip-hop instrumental or something like that
Hi guys !
New track here, download and share if you like it !
Thanks have a nice day
Old bs recording I did for a friend, just to see what I could do with his music. I've learned alot since then, and I've asked him to let me record and engineer a few tracks for him.
He's not very good at post, as he's nearly deaf in one ear. He's incredible to work with, and I recently acquired much better equipment for my podcast, that I'm going to use to record him. Particularly, I'm excited about him covering "Nuclear" from the mgsv soundtrack.
Don't bother with my other tracks, they're garbage, and were made before I had even rudimentary tracking and monitoring gear. I learned long ago, that I'm no musician, but I at least have a good ear, and tons of DAW experience under my belt, thanks to podcasting.
