The Helio Sequence - Hallelujah
Been spamming the fuck out of it lately, but its truly an amazing synthpop albums. Definitely one of my favorite albums of the 80s.
The Romany Rye - Untitled (Love Song)
As Tall As Lions - Duermete
Not rare or anything, just bumping because these threads are gr8
Band now known as Young the Giant, but I still like to go back and listen to their older shit
The Jakes - Texas Tea
I Should have started listened to these guys earlier
I actually listened to Embryonic for the first time a couple days ago. Didn't like it as much as The Terror but it's about on par with The Soft Bulletin for me. Those are the only Flaming Lips albums that I've heard.
For those who appreciate underground (sorta)
Hodgy Beats - Cudda Been
Toe are ballers, i found em recently too
This is experimental breakcore with a strong metal influence. Prime headbanging/ wallpunching music
Listen to what anon posted. It's my personal favorite FL record. The opener is beautiful
Bumping a few more OF shit
Domo Genesis - X
Another Domo because it's hard to pick just one
Domo Genesis - Mission Statement
Such a lot of stuff I've never heard of ITT, it's as if I'm actually discovering new music on /mu/
That's pretty neat
Gr8 album matey, you're gonna be spinning this all summer
Again, not new for me but I fucking love this band
This will be my last bump for a little. Will be back if thread is still here
Alabama Shakes - Be Mine
Softcore "black metal". Good for melanchoholic metalheads or ravaging goths or whatever, anyone may like it, it is not as bad as you think... I think.
Can't believe I never got around to listening to this last year. So good.
i discovered this pavement-ish band with deeper vocals that i liked very much but they don't happen to be unknown at all
Can't really get the whole post rock thing, but this is damn good!
For me, The Terror was a damn near perfect blend of abrasion and depressive atmosphere. Those 2 things really do it for me. Seriously, The Terror has like 4 10/10 songs IMO. Look, The Sun Is Rising might be my song of the decade.
So fucking good.
this little gem
Manchester Orchestra - Indentions
I had only heard TMR and SAM so far, but this is great.
Pretty fuckin good
Especially the demo versions of some of the tracks
all that noir
I'm going to reply as if I think you're not trolling around.
I didn't like it the first time either, now it's my favourite album of all time. I know it's hard to see past the meme that is In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, but if you can sit down and appreciate it as an album I think you might come around on it.
But not liking something is fine, don't feel bad about it.
