Fuck me /mu/
So this dude who collects vinyl lent me an LP by this band and when I bring it home I realize I can't fucking play it
Is this a really really bad mispress or what??
I have the same problem, my friend lent me this metal picture disk and I can't play it.
Oh that record is by some shitty experimental band called Sabian. The manual should come with a rhythm sheet for each song, you gotta bang on that shit out for the music. It's kind of like when Beck released that "album" that was just sheet music, except more physical.
Gatorblade is sort of good but their newer stuff is more buttrock than I care for.
To Prevent Serious Injury is an amazing intro track though.
>being pleb enough to enjoy the s/t
>not enjoying their master ep
>Not having a Skil 15-Amp 7-1/4 in. Magnesium SKILSAW Worm Drive
>only being able to play seven inches
get on my level, pleb
>not having 12" discs made out of diamonds
Id' be all full of jelly and stay inside out of shame too if I couldn't afford to wear the grooves out on discs like this too
Clarke, I have their entire discography.
>inb4 entry level garbage
O300×3,5×20,0mm is the greatest opener of all time. That's objective.
cds are boring theyre not obsolete enough
Here's an essential sawcore chart I made a while back for people new to the genre
Phoenix also did sawcore back then
Wilco's is nothing special, you can tell they were deriving from the style fast.
I listen to Art Sawcore not Pop Sawcore.
>Putting in Tyrolit
>Not the infinitely superior Bluefire
Visually inspect was my favorite. Feel free to hate me, but it definitely earned a place in my heart.
As for OP, you should keep that because some weirdo might buy it just because it doesn't play, like its rare for its condition
Those saw records are delicate things and you lose much of the special nuance in the digital recording process, since they're supposed to give you a unique experience with every listen.
Let me share a few ones from my shed
GRINDING - GRINDING
The six tracks (all named "stone" in different languages) explore an amazing world of noise and distortion. When the drums kick in in Pedra your mind will be blown
Anybody got a rip of Kronenflex's "A 24 Extra"? i had it years ago but lost it during a move. was on a sweet yellow variant too. probably one of the most underrated sawcore records imo
>all those plebs with no taste
I'm happy that you guys are finally trying to get into real music, I really am, but only a few people here understand what is the genre supposed to portray.
It isn't bad, but it sure as hell isn't something like Hoteche's CUTTING OFF WHEEL. Should've spent your money more wisely.
is this the new ARG??
Has anyone heard the new Quiet Evenings EP? I just got it on a picture disk, enjoying it a lot so far.
Just got this from a local store for $10, did I do good?
Congratulations! This thread has been selected as a Nominee for the 2015 Channies in the category of Thread of the Year! The voting doesn't start until September, but congratulations for your nomination and thanks for your contribution!
Grinding Wheels by Oregon though, the textures here are the best
>implying this isn't the best sawcore release ever
Has anybody been able to find Norton's new 7"? I think it's pretty cool they printed the lyrics on the disc itself.
>3. Bosch is overrated
this is what pleb-tier hipsters think.
>hurr it's popular so it's bad
Bosch's Ceramic is the best sawcore album out there, hands down. It's only one track, O125 x 22,3 mm, 40 minutes of the best music you can find.
It's alright, but have you heard the new Blackstone?
is this any good /mu/?
Was thinking about picking it up
Those aren't even the track names anon. And you seriously won't be able to convince me this isn't the pinnacle of 3rd wave sawcore.
Oh fuck, I didn't realize there was a promo version of this, just found this on Amazon.
>not owning the limited white version
Hey guys, just wondering...
Do you think i'd look pleb if i wore this shirt in public? I'm on the fence about buying it. being a Bosch fan and all.
Btw, did anybody else preorder Noritake's boxset?
Anyone got this?
MSS went full jew and only made 300 copies, and KORFF is something everyone should listen to.
Pretty rare release right here, the Japanese sawcore game is top notch
That reminds me of Noritake's "401091", it's literally impossible to find anywhere. Still looking for a download after all these years.
But yeah, MSS were always assholes.
"Oh anon, nice Bosch shirt. I like their stuff, got a lot of it at home."
"Oh me too, my favorite song by them is O125 x 22,3 mm. It's so atmospheric.."
"You're not a Ceramic guy?"
I just want to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread.
It's so nice to see that /mu/ is actually capable of having a serious discussion about music every once in a while without all the usual meme spouting bullshit. This thread just shows that neo /mu/ isn't as bad as people often try to make out.
Good job sawbros.
kwb - Chrom Vanadium
>techno - dub
kwb's 45'th release into the "alloy" series. Side A and B are labelled as both Chrom and Vanadium, so noone really knows which song is which.
Pretty good german sawcore, but pic related is the better choice for german sawcore
German sawcore is too, uh, 'respectful of the norms'.
I prefer artists which take risks.
Pic related is a Spanish sawcore band I found out. I didn't like Corte at first (seriously, *glass breaks* in sawcore?) but Hormigón Curado is the shit.
PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS PENIS
God, what's with all these genre names that is just -core appended to an already existing genre?
Sawcore is shit anyway, it's basically just a faster, louder version of saw.
Swedespammer dropped this in a sharethread and it's amazing.
Not as good as the first Cubitron, but still enjoyed it nevertheless.
I can't believe you guys haven't heard the pinnacle of the US Sawcore movement; "C7" by Bad Blade shit slays
>go to underground sawcore shop
>want to purchase makita record
>"patrician" sawcore aficionado sees my purchase
>gets pissed at my "pleb" purchase
>he says "is that fuckita?"
>"um yes i like this stuff, it's like Blackstone but better"
>he looks at me with anger in his eyes
>leave without record
Gripfags are the worst fanbase
The original sawcore masterpiece.
So yeah, great lyrics guys. Top fucking notch.
>go into a sawcore shop
>see a pleb with newest Bosch release
>laugh at them as I buy pic related
>Bosch fag sees me with pic related
>he even has a Bosch shirt on
>he's walking up to me
>I RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR as loud as I can
>I show my dominance to the bottom-teir pleb
>he runs out of the shop crying
>I buy pic related
any other sawcore shop stories /mu/?
I got one
>invite gf over
>she's 8/10 and claims to be into music
>show her my favorite Forney album
>put it on
>"um what the fuck is this shit"
>I RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR at her until she leaves
>I even spin my arms around in saw fashion in case she tries to turn me off
Who needs women if they can't appreciate the finest music?
>my face when i first heard it
come on we must reach bump limit
my favorite gothsaw
Sharing my rare shit
>Hitachi - Hollow Ground
Came out as 7.24" flexi disk on Plywood/Laminate. Limited to 140 pieces
>Quality product of Israel
>listening to jew sawcore
