sound cloud thread? last one seems pretty dead.
post one, comment/give feedback to one
i dunno, i jump around genres, but it mostly stays pretty electronically tinged
i'm going to bed but i'll be looking through this thread like the last one and giving feedback on soundcloud and through here.
Will give feedback soon
DREAMERS IN THE COAST IS VERY BEAUTIFUL. YOU MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC, SLIGHTLY EERIE.
I AM IN A BAND CALLED HOME VIDEO OF OPRH WINFREY CRYING INTO A LEAN CUISINE WE ARE VERY LOVING PEOPLE I PROMISE.
Great piano on Avery's song. Youre a great pianist. You could expand on that idea for sure.
Dreamer's in the closet sounds a lot like Animal collective and its awesome. Keep it up dude. I can't find many flaws myself. Keep up the good work dude. I guess just stay honest and true to what you want to do. The heavy Animal Collective influence could get a little out of hand. But sonically its great stuff. Just be you yknow
>Trap, nice synths, mellow
Just uploaded a new track, Cherry Blossom Synth seems to be the most popular though.
Will return feedback on soundcloud
OKAY COOL I"LL CZECH IT OUT
i like your instrumentals, the riffs are cool and minimalistic and it's got good grungy production/mixing, but that singer is ruining it for me... still cool stuff though
>uplifting ghetto trance
Just recorded this one, I think it's pretty cool.
>Indie rock type thing
feedback is appreciated ^-^
I liked this at first but it honestly is a bit repetitive and got pretty boring pretty fast
Love the guitar playing on this one, could probably have a bit more control on the vocals though (not saying they're bad though) this could def benefit from a percussion track
Embed probably won't work since it's private so you'll just have to copy the URL:
>electronic + instruments and processed recordings
Any and all feedback appreciated
Oh shit I just realized that the link to the one I originally posted isn't working because it's private and there's a special URL
I made this today, I usually do future beat type stuff but been doing more guitar work lately
everything surrounding the drums in the song is absolutely gorgeous.
the drums themselves are a little dry.
though i do like the little downpitched breaks you do with them from time to time.
dope atmosphere overall, i feel like your sound will only get more solid from here on out
I'm trying to find my own sound right now, anyone have any advice/tips?
>electronic, female vocals, robot
new genre ;~)
Tryna get this track to 1k plays, thinking about dropping an EP featuring this track
The majority of the to be honest, but I don't actually think its actually the sounds but more the chord progressions making them sounds cheesy. But I think the just need more variation, play around with different automatons and stuff because they sounds quite one dimensional. The rest of your production (especially drums) is A+
lets do dis
Awesome production on Light Inside, the vox modulation is sick too. Works out really well, contributes to this robotic atmosphere I'm gettin'. Sorta wished the kick was a bit more meaty but besides that cool tune!
I wouldn't know since I'm not into electronic however one note though was that the low end was lacking just tad in your latest track maybe sample multiple kicks? and or EQ dat shizzle.
Damn you guys are talented as hell! Highly energetic track with Placebo AWESOME dynamics. Love the eastern feel in the track with the guitar. You guys are incredible, really well done. Lots of contrasting sections! You guys obviously know how to do instrumentals,.
Dat phat kick in your recent track is sexy man. Various sounds keeps things interesting twas a bit too long for my taste however. Although I'm sure lots of people who are into that genre would see that track as a masterpiece of some sorts!
Man first thing that came to mind was Tycho, awesome delay in the guitar. The beat is really simplistic but works really well. Love the layering towards the end and the ethereal quality it brings to the track. Well done man, keep it up!
I recommend this fellow, awesome chilled out jams!
Suh-weet, chilled out vibes, awesome guitar layering. However if I need to be honest the production could do with a bit of touch-up and also this would be SICK with a strong back beat. This seriously reminds me of something between Mac DeMarco's 2 and John Lennon's solo debut album. Very cool, highly impressive man.
Berry interesting, very original. Can't say I'm into that genre however I could certainly imagine that in some kind of retro sci-fi film.
Damn this is sick, hello Joy Division? Anyhow the vocals are very cool. I'd only say that the production let it down a tad. But twas great!
yeah it can be really fun when you start digging deeper into the sounds of each individual drum sample you use. like, it can become a fun experiment to see what kind of weird vibes or grooves you can get out of using unorthodox sounds for your rhythms
>Multi genre, but my latest album is complextro
I did alot of other genres though, feel free to check out my other, older albums
>Damn this is sick, hello Joy Division? Anyhow the vocals are very cool. I'd only say that the production let it down a tad. But twas great!
Thanks man. Yeah Im not working with the best mics and programmes so the production will lack a bit. I mean its improved a bit since my old stuff but that has also shaped my way of playing. Pre set drums, along with me playing bass and guitar lines.
I need to ensure vocals arent too harsh but I appreciate your comments.
Yeha man I love Joy Division. Dont wanna rip them but I acknowledge their influence.
Thats kinda interesting stuff, has a really old school vibe to it, and I like it man.
The production is good, that type of music is just not my thing. Too weird for me.
Wow nice percussion, but take it easy on the whitenoise, the lead synth sounds kinda cheap. The mixing is good. The melody is too simple maybe, and the track could have some variatioin. Not bad m808.
Light Inside (new mix) - is a nice track man, the vocals are a bit unclear in my opinion but it isn't necessarily a bad thing. I cant hear the kick drum, i know it is'nt supposed to be dominant, but it could be a tad louder. Otherwise sounding really nice!
Here is my track:
>Progressive House/House/some shit like that
I'd appreciate if you'd check it out, thanks :)
Song from my mixtape that I'mma drop September 14th, mark the date.
> hip hop / rap, summer vibes track, Miami dedicated
>hip hop / rap, PBR&B, instrumentals, house and trap mixes
Singer/Songwriter, looking for feedback, thanks for listening.
>no style is my style
>acoustic/folk, shoegaze, post-rock, slowcore, experimental, ambient, electronic
just finished a track, will reply feedbacks & comments on SC
>classical jazzy stuff
>fka twigs remix, chill
Just posted this, inb4 soundcloud copyright infringement, hope you dig. Will return feedback and all that jazz.
I'll be sticking around in this thread for a couple of hours too!
The reverbs in your track are really nice and natural. The drums are pretty nice, the snare sounds a little too vengeancey for my taste, but the bass is tasty. The vocal sample is as groovey as the lead synth, overall pretty damn nice.
This is me :)
I actually really liked it ad im loving your other stuff ,awsome
Any kind of feedback is appreciated :)
>i dont know how to call it
>chillwave, witch house, post-dubstep
The reverby guitar/vocal sample is chiller than anything ever haha. So damn cruisey, that trap beat when it comes in is great too, brilliant snare rolls. I'd like a little more variety in sounds perhaps, but there's not a lot I can critique you on.
Wouldn't mind some critiques back, that track is chill trap as well so your feedback will be worth more!
Here's something I just uploaded to youtube.
>russian dark synth
LET ME JUST SAY RIGHT NOW I WILL NOT BE GIVING FEEDBACK 2 ANYONE ELSE AS I AM FAR ABOVE U ALL

>melodic, dubstep, trance
returning all feedback!
thanks for the feedback... i'll respond here since it's hard to comment on playlists on sc for whatever reason.
the opening melody on that first track is tremendous! good job for that. the song gets super groovy as well. fantastic job. the little guitar breakdown could be a littler better played though... sounds like the fx are making up for lazy play. love your production style though. its so chaotic and funky. keep this up!
>uk garage n tingzzzzz
>vaguely classical-inspired super mellow beepboops, I have no idea what to call it but it's super happy
>made when I first opened and used Massive
>hot pot of all sorts of industrial music, dark ambient, drone, glitch and even breakbeat
>collab with a cool dude who added some sounds to the track
Checking you people out now, posting feedback in a bit.
If anyone knows a vocalist, I need one.
For this track:
"666 (MPC Live Improvisation) (2010)"
>Some crazy, psycho, agressive trap/grime shit played live on a sampler - stuff you've never heard before.
>I make different music inspired by Cyberpunk & Japan.
Sydscape Inc. Volume 1 and Escape Da' Vibe (Freedom Mix) are sooo good, very tight stuff. Definitely following you around, loving this. I should probably listen to more garage. Great music dude!
>chill beats inspired by r&b, trap and vaporwave
yo im dropping an album on http://dreamcatalogue.net/ sept. 16th
>it is something
i'm not sure if i want to make more like this
it's based on an idea i had a while back to do this
and that was just like frequencies where i started at something, i forget what it was, but i would divide it by phi and then put it up/down octaves to get it to sound the way it does and then repeat. kinda dumb when you know how its done. but if it's not already a thing to do stuff like that, i want to make it a thing.
this one is brand new and currently private on my soundcloud until i get more plays on other tracks, let me know what you think.
>80s inspired video gamey music
>uploaded 8 new tracks yesterday (some of them are pretty unfinished but worth the listen)
>Drake remix that shouldnt disappoint (I hope) - Chopped vocals - Good feels - Dark vibes - Alternative electronic
Really like those synths you're using - very spacey - but i think the track is too long/theres not enough going on to keep it interesting throughout!
Nice track, like a cop chase in a b-movie!
I like it, but i feel like all the instruments are very uninspired - like ive heard it before - im loving the guitar solo though, it should definitely be louder!
Nice ideas with Lingering Terror but i think you could have executed them better, maybe work on the mix a bit more - make the bass really thump
Goddamn juice newton is so slickkkk! love it man
This song is very different than our previous songs, much more experimental element. We consider this track as a side track.
Cute, kewl guitars.
This is my homie's newest song, off a tape he put out a couple days ago. Check it out.
Don't like the reverb on the main vocal track, but sounds nice on the delay, also kicks need to be sidechained heavy as fuck man lol
>Instrumental Rap Music
I'm not a fan of Drake (his voice puts me off, just a personal thing) but your remix made me stare out the window and think about life for a little bit. It's dreamy
Good instrumentation but the vocals don't fit at times, I dig Ornament though.
Nice guitar work man, all it needs really is some percussion.
Worth listening to for the chorus, has a nice chill vibe.
Not bad, but a better production would go a long way.
Fucking dope man...nothing more needs to be said, very impressed.
Rave HOBO LORD
I return every feedback in soundcloud!
>>weirdcore, quirky rock, avant garde
>post something metal
I just record my friends. I like recording way more than writing or playing music.
I haven't gotten into one of these threads in a long time. Bout to check out some of you guys.
Just finished this:
>2step, Breakbeat, Garage, Dubstep

returning all feedback etc on soundcloud
Just released this summery track:
>psychedelic rock, indie rock, lo-fi
Just put out a new track.
electronic laptop-grade music
>prog house tho
in the process of checking everyone's stuff out
>moist beat production
This will rustle some jimmies but if all you have on you SC page is some remixes or some chopped / screwed shit of some original artists work then I don't even bother listening. Rearranging somebody else's track like it's a god-fucked Quentin Tarrantino movie IS NOT creating music. I know some of you actually create your own shit AND do remixes. If I'm on a page like that I usually scroll through and listen to the original work while ignoring the remixed shit. I just don't give a fist fuck for someone who cannot even try to make their own shit. There are too many artists on here who actually do create original tracks. I would rather listen to them than to waste my time on wastes of time. I don't give a fuck what you think about it. I don't care if your hemorrhoids start bleeding or your shingles flare up or even if you get cancer from reading this. In fact for those of you this applies to I hope you get mad as fuck. I hope your shitter shatters.
Here's a recent track i made:
I'm trying to get feedback and plays, so if you could repost this for me that would be great.
>hiphop, jazzy, synths
I think this idea has potential but isn't executed correctly in my opinion. The song sounds flacid and lacks energy. Even if the song was shorter I still think those melodies would stagnate really quickly. Mix seems ok but I don't have my headphones on me at the moment so it is hard to tell. I know trap production is supposed to sound sparse, but this song is just barren man. I think you could do with some sort of more defined progression or structure within the song, and maybe some eastern ethnic drums to spice shit up a little bit if you think it would tie in with the whole jungle aesthetic you're going for. I'd probably use them sparingly though. Some low end might be nice too actually.
I've given you the most constructive criticism I could, but all that shit is just what I, personally, want to hear. Keep at it and I'll be sure to check these threads for your stuff to see how your music evolves. Good luck and keep at it brother.
> Uk Garage, Techno, Percussion
new uk shit just out, returning feedback and likes
Thanks for the honest criticism. I labelled it as trap, but I'm honestly trying to go in a new direction of sound. I'm not really sure where, but I definitely want someone to hear my track one day and say, "Damn, that's definitely FL" or some shit like that. Every play and every comment helps though. Show it to your friends who are into this kind of stuff, help me get out there. Every time someone comments or listens to my tracks I'm gonna get better, and that's all I want in the end.
>Athmospheric, symphonic dnb
Will return constructive feedback.
>Latest 3 tracks have Guitar
>Most other tracks chiptune inspired, using video game instruments
BTW I'm returning feedback on soundcloud and trying to leave feedback for stuff in this thread.

>breaks, breakbeats, beatbreaks, breakcore, breakstep, rebreak, breakdance, breakfast, postbreak, etc.
oh shit sorry m8, didnt want 2 offend u. I was just simply making an observation and stating the facts. "thoz loopz" sound decent. nothing wrong with using packs, i'll use them all day but just get more creative with them and make them your own and people will respek u
Check it out!
Listened to some people and changed the main synth up.

very melodic and glitchy

>Thrashy guitar pop demo
This is just a bedroom demo we made. We're saving to do a full album with a professional engineer.
Not really much of a producer, mostly writing.
Go check out my friend too, he's got some good techno beats, got that Soul and Funk inspiration.
I know I'm not good by any real means, but I still have fun just throwing these tunes out. I would like to be able to do music for video games, but I know I have a lot of room for growth, so if you honestly think it's shit, tell me.
I absolutely loved the Dreamers in the Coast one, it made me feel really calm and it stayed interesting throughout the whole. Diorama and The Adventures of Luck Hope Maybe Try made me think more video game styles and it was pretty sweet.
Shit, I fucked up there with my reply... Sorry about that.
It wouldn't let me see yours and gave me a 404 page when I looked for it.
hope everyone likes it. replies on SC.
fuck i mislinked
I dump all my shit here:
Also Reaper fag.
Just finished this one, hope you enjoy.
>Dreamy sounding, 12/8 electronic thing.
Cheers man, listened to your stuff it had this weird originality about it. It was dirty however it was also ethereal. Would've been very cool with some kind of drums behind it
Thanks TX80! (: very flattered
>vaporwave >japan >ambient
You really fucking Suck
Pretty awesome, good job.
You suck terribly.
This is terrible.
You should quit.
Don't usually like house music, but this is pretty cool.
Quit, you suck. You sound like you suck Macklemore's dick.
Gayest shit I've ever heard
You fucking suck, die.
This is terrible, I usually like shoegaze but this is terrible. No production value at all.
You really suck.
Not a fan.
This is pretty good.
Terrible, terrible, terrible.
This sucks lol
Another white kid young whose sarcastically rapping and wants to Yung Lean or Lil Ugly Mane. Just quit. You all fucking suck.
You suck and probably got caught on To Catch A Predator at some point.
You really suck
You suck and self-signal boost your posts. Like, you really suck. Quit.
You suck at both, quit both.
You are just terrible. Die.
Usually like trip hop, but not a fan of this at all.
if you see me IRL say hi
I post unmodern stuff with thrills.
Anyone have any advice for someone who has the hardest time putting tracks together. This combined with the fact that i feel like there is a pressure for my first soundcloud song to be good makes it hard for me to accomplish anything. Not sure about genre, Mono, Have A Nice Life, and ambient music are some of my biggest influences so stuff like that, combined
>ambient, meditative, space music
Sorry that everyone's not a good musician, but its a fact. If I said it I mean it.
I lost interest, people on 4chan all make the same exact fucking songs anyways.
If I said it, I meant it. I don't have difficult standards I don't think, just when it comes to a bunch of punk kids posting on here like they're famous people who just deserve attention when really there's no effort in their music, and it sounds like it could be everyone else's song on here.
Oh, and you fucking suck too. Im guessing you didn't make that picture, which means there's nothing interesting about you.
The only advice I can give is 9/10 your first songs will be shit, but who cares? Post them, get critiqued, take what people say into consideration and learn from it. It's what i've done and there is an insanely big difference in quality between my first tracks and my latest tracks because of this, posting and learning from what I post.
In terms of piecing a track together, if you don't feel like you're getting anywhere after an hour or two of working on your song, dump it and come back to it another time, try start something fresh if you start to lose the vibe.
i could tell you some pretentious bullshit like "the moment will come" or "just do what your heart tells you to do"
but i am not, your first song is going to suck ass, just get it out tha way like geez don't give urself blue balls
thanks for the responses. I'll probably just give myself like a week and put out whatever shitty song i have going by then. I feel like i know my first song will suck to some extent but i just need to get into the mentality of completing things instead of just playing them and walking away
I just like the music a lot.
>MOVE DAT DOPE
>I make beats and everything else, Need singers and any vocals tbh
>Really wanna collab (Dunno how)
Exactly, I could say the same about any genre. There's a lot of terrible instrumentalists who hide that behind an adopted voice in the likings of Mumford & Sons, then they use some Annie Leibovitz wannabe picture of some palm trees or an island or an old VW and blah blah blah.
And the techno artists. Lets talk about the techno artists who are still sucking vaporwaves dick, and whenever they fail terribly at what their doing (most of the time) they play it off as sarcasm and irony, the epitome of what it is to be a hipster sucking Sufjan Stevens dick down on Mission & Dolores. Everythings some "chill" appropriation of someone elses song with Southern hiphop drums under it, about how money isn't everything, or it is sarcastically at least. 4chan and /mu/ is mostly untalented hipster city.
Yes, because someone called you out on your terrible music, they MUST be trolling. There's a difference between troll and truth, and its intent. I don't care if you get worked up, as long as you know the truth.
I made this song to be like the soundtrack of staring at a computer screen all night
I've sold beats to Chief Keef and Young Thug, and I've made beats for a lot of underground rappers, mostly in Chicago. Money wise, I'm pretty successful. I work 15 hours a week building solar panels, and the two allow me to live comfortably. In terms of what I make, I don't think its that good but its what sells. I'm just telling you guys my opinion, after reviewing on these boards for at least a year, everything is the same and everyone just plops down their shit like it deserves plays when usually, it fucking sucks.
Hey, man, I'm this guy:
I actually appreciate your feedback, but I would kindly ask you to check out more of my stuff, maybe it would change your mind, because I do a lot of different styles.
A new track i made. Dark Bassline. Hope you guys dig!
something to share.
HEY CAPSMAN I DUNNO KNOW IF YOU"RE STILL HERE BUT IM REALLY NOT INTO METAL/SCREAMO AT ALL SO I DONT FEEL I CAN FAIRLY JUDGE YOUR PIECE BUT THE SOUND QUALITY/PRODUCTION WAS EXCELLENT SO I"LL GIVE YOU THAT MUCH
rate my waveform
Ambient, downtempo - burial's a huge reference point, zomby's a huge reference point
another trashy producer who thinks hes the shit because he made a couple of beats for trashy rappers for their trashy mixtapes they be shittin out every next week lmao i bet ure like "got u my g" on twitter n shit like that. youre just a fuckin tourist attraction for real producers, laughable stuff
hahahah i realised you actually only commented possitively on the guys who gave some feedback in the thread, oh myyy. i get u know, fuccboi, ure pretending to be some fine ass producer just to get your point across. mane, ppls are commenting, feedbackin shit on SC as well, smfh, why u lyin? u aint makin shit fo no Chief Keefs I KNEW THIS WHOLE CHICAGO TALK SMELLED LIKE BULLSHIT FUCKIN BUSTED HAHAHAHA
>he hates everybody except me
>must be brutal honesty
for real you do make really great music though so congratz on being crowned king of the thread.
any idea who this guy is? you can see who listened to your tracks with a pro account. so presumably you and the others with one could easily figure out who he is. has he actually produced for chief keef or young thug?
>I am the midi master...in my own mind
I'm not sure if sarcasm or? haha If you were being sincere, thanks man however I wouldn't say I'd be "king of the thread" plenty of other more talented fellows on here and I have no idea who he is sorry man I checked all the listeners and non of them really stuck out as being producers for Chief Keefs or that other artist.
guys been straight lying from the top. hes just some pissed off fuckhead who cant normally speak his mind up. AND I BET YOU hes the same idiot whos been postin dat shitty copypasta in SC threads for a while, something about sampling and remixes
yea yea shut up, you got burned already hoe
