I'm thinking most of the maybe 400K deaths were caused by the allies cutting supply lines. I mean they had swimming pools and plays, etc. The idea was to teach them to work. Which is what the national socialists based their money on -- not gold, but labor productivity. They weren't intending to kill them off.
