Anyways, it's a good show that thankfully got better after the first few episodes of season 1, but I'm not sure it's related to MLP.

S4 has been my favourite.

Anyways if you can't afford a whole $10 I recommend watching the show any way you can if you like dramas. It is probably the darkest show on television/streaming right now and the episode that the OP pic is from completely floored me.

I watched the first episode of that show and it was fucking awful. I then had people tell me it gets better and I shouldn't judge it by the first episode, but it was so bad it completely killed my curiosity about the rest. Sort of the opposite of MLP.

Bojack aims to strike a balance between depressing and hopeful. It's not nihilistic, it's about working to be a better person. Also it fills itself with more and more quirky humour over time.
