The early season revolve around the ancient and mysterious magic of the elements of Harmony (a series of gems, powerful enough to defeat any force of evil) that is harness by the main characters and used to defeat evil. As the series continue you get to know more about the objects and their history.

The later seasons, focus mainly on memes and has no drive force or mystery to keep you from coming back. If you like memes, you'll love it! Be sure to check out the emoji movie too if you haven't already.

I just want to point out that literally everything you said here is bullshit. The EoH appeared TWICE, in the entirety of the early seasons. The show didn't revolve around them in the slightest. And even now, in season 7, the most we know about them is 'they came from a magic tree.' The early season's revolved around exactly the same thing that the show revolves around now; character interactions and problems caused by character flaws with the occasional adventure to strange lands.

Their subtly and mystery made them great. (If they were in every fucking episode, the show would've been shit).
All the SoL stuff was just fun filler that built up anticipation to when they would reappear.

It has great songs, characters that grow and develop over time, and a sense of humour that doesn't rely on toilet humour.
The first two episodes suck so give it a fair go before making conclusions.
