Five fucking years i tried this and the only thing it did was teach me how to fake things long enough to pass as a normie at a glance.
Maybe for some people they need that sort of thing to 'come out of their shell' or whatever, but for autists like me it's physically exhausting to be 'social'.

That's all I've really been doing with myself the past few years, worst decision of my life.

By showing my vulnerabilities and flaws to people I thought I knew and trusted, I found more resentment than I ever would've known from living alone. People that I thought I could call friends and family that I thought I could trust saw how truly pathetic I was. And rather than seeking to help me with my flaws as I offered them my attention, they sought to use me to fulfill their own needs and desires. Only to resent me after I had given them all of my free time and work.

I'd say that these people can burn in hell for all I care, but at the same time they and the things they've done to me are the only thing I've even known. Both my friends and family have made it quite clear that they want nothing to do with me, and that it would be best to leave them.

The people I've liked and the people that like me are all dead or far away by now. The most recent being a friend of mine who got absolutely shitfaced and decided to floor it straight into a tree without a seat belt. Killing him instantly.

At this point, that doesn't sound like a bad idea.
