the 30min long children's cartoon is a dying artform. Its much easier to shit out a bunch of 11 minute commercial free shorts so you can sit your kid in front of the TV all day so they can watch several shows in a row

Agreed, even the fuckery Treehouse TV pulled this year has me pissed off. How hard is it to release 1 episode every week? That and it seems like the majority of content this year was leaked at least to some extent before official release
