The CMC were shafted in season 6, so the writers needed to cut someones episodes to make up for it. Unsurprisingly, they chose Spike. At least the CMC are getting a good season.

They are some of the best in the series. If I were to choose a group of characters that are consistently written well, it would be the CMC. Even when their episodes are bad (since season 3), its never because the CMC are written badly.

Not holding my breath for a decent episode though. Then again, what I want for Spike is for him to be a legit abandoned egg because his egg was small and not expected to live, so I probably have a skewed view of what's 'good'.

I don't care about him but i can admit that his only good episode was Gauntlet of Fire. He wasn't even a character in SoMe. Spikefags are memeing this episode as his good episode when he only did something in the first 4 minutes of the episode before going hulk smash.
