Memes aside, what are /mlp/'s thoughts on the Bride/Daughter of Discord fanfic and/or audio reading?
Personally I like it, there's nothing really deep about it I just think that the character interactions are well done and I've actually come to like this alternate universe that the author created, it's basically the only extremely long fanfic that the fandom's produced that hasn't made me gag

Bride of Discord is shit though. Their subtle romance in the show is more believable than Stockhold syndrome scenario of Beauty and Beast. Ans even in Beaty and Beast they quickly established Beast to let her go so she woudnt be forced to keeping him company, like Fluttershy was forced to do.


So basically instead a story where evil dude trained a good heroine to tolerate him, we actually had good heroine actually changing the bad dude with love. Which is actual way Beauty and Beast worked. The Fluttercord is just with more development since its spread across seasons rather than single movie.
