It depends. I definitley enjoy the discussion and most of the humor, grim, absurdist, or otherwise.

That being said, I don't enjoy the endless bitching though, it's kind of grating. The stuff that goes beyond the pale of basic cynicism, basically.

Don't get me wrong, I get complaints and criticisms about the show, and I appreciate them to a certain extent provided they aren't repeated ad nauseam and when providing a rebuttal doesn't just earn you a reply of "everyone who disagrees with this is retarded".

The bigger issue I have is people who endlessly bitch about what they perceive as shitposting. It generally only causes one of two things, either the people who they think are shitposting will reply trying to defend themselves, and a pointless argument will ensue, or the person who was actually shitposting will reply to piss the poster off, and then a pointless bait war will ensue.

Besides that, this place is breddy good.

And yes, before you point it out, I understand that irony involved in complaining about other people complaining. I just think it needs to be said once in a great while.

Maybe I'm just not cut out for browsing this board anymore. Shitposting has become such a pandemic here that browsing nearly every other board is a breath of fresh air from this shitheap. Even /a/ doesn't suffer from the constant stream of shit this board gets.

I'll give you the other two, but not /tv/, they have more content discussion than we do and they're not afraid to go indepth. They have genuinely funny shitpost threads that are rooted in their board culture and not the forced, unoriginal, unfunny shit that we do on a daily basis.

Any time I've gone to /tv/ and tried to discuss shit every thread where there's even a shred of disagreement ends up boiling down to, a pissing match of "you're retarded because you're wrong"

I don't care about the shitposting, not a single bit, I refuse to judge a board by the lowest common denominator. I'm judging it by the highest common denominator and the half dozen time's I've gone there it's all been thoroughly shit. Meanwhile even if I fundamentally disagree with someone on here I find that we can generally at least come to understand and respect each other's point of view.

I understand that's anecdotal, but that's just what I've seen. I also understand that a half dozen visits doesn't mean that I completley understand the board, but I've actually asked people several times "holy shit, is it always this bad?" and without fail they universally said yes with no qualifiers or anything of the sort.

That being said, now that the pepe-crisis is over and the robot is back on it's recovered significantly since the lowpoint, but it's still not nearly as good as it used to be.
