The two of you were now standing under the entrance to the attic. It was one the entrances with the sliding stairs that came down.
You were nervous, unsure about what you'd find up there in the attic.

It was kinda dark in the attic, the only light being a few windows here and there. There wasn't much dirt in the area, and it was filled with boxes of Oakfarm's old stuff that he couldn't fit in the house. The air smelled dull, and humid.

There wasn't anything noteworthy in the general area, meaning you were now looking through one of the boxes while Raven started looking through another.
The box you were looking in appeared to be filled with old pictures, most of them of Endless Sands. One of the pictures being her with what appeared to be a baby that looked similar to you.
After a few minutes of looking through the box you find something that you didn't expect to see.
A book, a book on Necromancy to be specific. You were pretty sure those were illegal.

You watch as two of the boxes area separated a bit as two golden eyes peek out.
"Y-Yes," A quiet, slightly warped, and feminine voice replies, "Who are you?"
"I'm Bitter Root," You tell her, "Oakfarm's adopted child."
"Why are you here," She quickly asks, "Where's Oakfarm? He can't be dead!"

A minute goes by before the door is opened. It was a Pegasus stallion with a orange coat, and a brown mane. You quickly recognize him as Elmfarm.

You load up the broken appliances and place them in a cart. Thinking about possibly going out for a drink with your friends.
You didn't have a lot of friends like Oakfarm. You at least had one or two that you haven't seen since you finished high school several years ago.

You then go look for your old friends. Ocean Current was a friend, but after a minor fight in high school the two of you weren't best of friends.
You remember your two friends were Monolith, and Frozen Fields. Monolith was a giant of a pony, a large Unicorn who was great at anything athletic. Frozen Fields was a earth pony like you, but his family ran one of the resorts in town. You knew where both kinda lived, but you weren't sure.
