It really grinds my gears when musicians delete their pony stuff before leaving the fandom, especially if their music was insanely good.

Anyway, I don't have the link, but Jeff Burgess put out a zip with every pony song he ever made before he deleted it all. Downloaded it, if anyone wants it.

I'll download it if you upload it.

There could be a multiple of reasons. Sometimes their youtube account is linked to a temporary email like a university one. I think that's what happened to feedsy who had his dork pmv deleted.

Jizz In My Pants, and the response, Puke In My Mouth, are two of the greatest songs ever.

Might as well post this now since I doubt that there's ever going to be another music thread.
sogreatandpowerful during his time making pone music released three albums. The Standard Model, S2, and Space Pony.
The Standard Model is plunderphonics, tons of samples from the show making a song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKLIpCCVLIM
There are other ways in which to experience The Standard Model, all of them better ways to experience the album.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DyJGai4dMI&t=1346s Makes each track transition into each other.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL73yA6ANw7YaMf0zPj3YmgRzA69lYGpjr Playlist that contains remastered versions of the music videos. Just makes them prettier to look at.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0ej3Znhaug Really nice PMV of the Standard Model (song)
S2 is a more traditional approach, in which he sings over bleeps.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhFjx5AVRMc&list=PLiscFAdd3em74N-gu1pv5hjt72IL4h8d4
Space Pony was his last album, and as far as I can tell, only is made up of 3 songs, and doesn't really count as an album since it's so short, more of an EP
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpC0E9FKfdeGKfCVXH-ync1wXuGYRsRPw 3 songs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAcUE_v9Cks Title track which is just the 3 songs played together.
sgap was starting on another album called Unmakeable love when he died. The only track I know of is RD/RA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1JdxPcKfLw
However, he has done many other works outside of his album projects. The rest of them are in the fan mixtape posted in the op and a handy dandy site that's dedicated to Archiving sgap. It includes download links and strange little tracks that they got somehow.
http://sogreatandpowerful.com/
As far as I know, those are all of the songs that SGAP as ever made and been involved in. However, most people don't realize how much influence sgap had, ever since his disappearance, a bunch of covers have come out.

Considering how many >nu-males watched mlp, it probably surprised anyone that thought about it that there wasn't a whole lot of emotional """""deep""""" bullshit music.
Le Soldat Pony is exactly that, with even his influences (Sufjan Stevens and Ágætis byrjun) summing up /mu/'s music taste.
Interview in which he mentions this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRHWXeebkAE
However despite this, he has a voice that is probably one of the best male ones in the fandom, so good that he doesn't feel the need to drown it in effects like half the artists do. He displays a competency in making song and playing instruments and is probably some of the only pony folk that's ever been made.

Le Soldat released four albums during his time, two of which were deleted off of bandcamp for no discernible reason.
Before These Mighty Skies is the most folky, with guitar (both electric and acoustic being prominent through out the album) and is the only album that's completely free of bleeps. And it has an instrumental track. If an album has an instrumental track, you know that its going to be artsy as shit.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ycPuo2mMds
Disharmony was one of the deleted albums in which he went in a more bleepy direction. Pretty sure that he ditched the guitar for the entirety of the album. Also has Rhyme Flow doing one of the worst verses I've ever heard.
>order in the court better yet bring disorder in the court
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYfEP-Xjv_Y
Artemis was his last project, in which he brought back the guitar to accompany the bleeps. Way more slow and feelsy than Disharmony. He actually updated the album as he went along, and when he released the final track, he left the fandom without a trace.
>At the end of the rainbow, how could I forget your name?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc6qhAKL_m0&t=399s
Afterwards he released an album of a bunch of unfinished songs (read: never to be finished)

Just like sgap, Le Soldat released a ton of songs outside of his albums. Also like sgap, there's an archive for them:
http://lesoldatponyarchive.tumblr.com/
According to it, there's two other albums called the White Box and Live In Front of Some Books. The White Box was never featured on his bandcamp so I didn't count it (plus its super short so its also technically an EP) and Live in Front of Some Books is super hard to find if you don't use the archive.
Pretty sure all of his songs are on there, including when he did a little collab with And the Rainfall and made the band Tecolotl.
However, unlike sgap, Le soldat has not dropped hints of coming back and he does not enjoy the same amount of recognition sgap does. There are extremely few covers of him, even though he has collabed and covered every artist that's worth a damn.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dblaFAkYBmw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBbAzmXjk_M
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nklXtnFew_Q
Also, if you care at all about Soldat/sgap, the sgap subr*ddit is okay if you want to know obscure facts.
Before these mighty skies has gorgeous art by the way.

Not exactly MLP related, but why all MLP electronic music has to be horrible dubstep or super-compressed electrohouse?

I'd love subtle but sleek material that you could actually drop in a club

because you're too lazy to actually search for music beyond electronic.
>>
>>30750913
You're right.
But, in that sense, I'm grateful for the opportunity to channel this emotion into my music to make something that actually has meaning, if only to me.

It'll all work out for the best.

It was a nice surprise to see and hear that Omni is somewhat back on the scene. I still remember listening to Dragon Greed back in the day.
I didn't really like it back then, but still, it's nice to see the old names around.
The Mystic Acoustics album is killer, though. Love every single track of it to bits.
>>
>>30751455
Dude, head over to horsemusicherald.com. They have music sorted by genre. Search bandcamp for pony tags. There's a lot of music besides electro. Soundcloud, too. Once you find one artist, follow threads to others.
