I never thought of it that way. I think fillies just have 3 to make them look cuter, but as a representation of innocence it kind of works, with fillies being the most innocent of all and villains being the least. I may adopt this headcannon.

My first thought was that maybe her uncontrollable magic scorched her eyes, reducing her eyesight similarly to a welder without a mask, or someone staring into the sun. >>30738532 and >>30738648 seems like a far more reasonable explanation though.

I've heard a few when the trailer first released, some are alright, but none of them are as good as the English one IMO.

I've always been quite fond of Emily Blunt's perfomance though, so I'm probably partial. She's one of those B-grade (I guess she is?) celebrities I like seeing and especially hearing.

I don't think that'd be in character for her. From reading the book she seems very determined, and has (for a kid's show) walked through hell only to reach the point she is at now. She's sort of lost track of who she is, and where she previously wanted to enroll in Celestia's school for gifted Unicorns and had goals and plans for the future, Storm King has convinced her she should only care for herself.

Occupying the royal castle doesn't really seem all that meaningful for her. She seems more like the determined type who'd spend her days in the closed-off wings of the library studying all sorts of forbidden knowledge because some of it might help her. Occupying the castle implies she sees her task as complete, and I'm not sure if she's the kind of character who can ever settle down.

Some of the locations and bits of lore will also come up in the movie. You can infer quite a few spoilers and the like. For example the mane6 are supposed to "Get help from the hippo..." and a twist is that they're looking for hippoGRIFFS not, hippos.
But yeah, nothing major. I wouldn't worry about it, the trailer reveals more than the book does.

MLP clearly isn't for you, I'm afraid.
The main selling point of MLP:FiM has always been that it isn't endless tea-parties and spineless "cute things", from the get-go the show has always put a heavy emphasis on drama and adventure interspersed with personal conflicts and struggles.

Have you tried Strawberry Shortcake? I think that might be more in your taste, seeing as you're looking for a Western moeblob show.

Compelling drama can exist despite the fate of Equestria hanging in the balance. As the show has demonstrated time and time again, from the pilot onwards, the two are in no way mutually exclusive, and interpersonal conflicts is almost always what resolves the conflict in the end.

In fact, I'd argue it takes a competent writer to do both conflicts justice simultaneously. Not always, but more often than not, the show succeeds in doing just that. Whether it's true for the movie or not remains to be seen.
