In order to make that last episode, staff had to:
>Get upset enough at fan comments to decide to make a parody of them
>Write several drafts of a script
>Write and perform a song
>Spend months animating and revising the actual animation
>Pay dozens of people for their work
And WE are the ones who are the saltiest? This is amazing.
>>30732820
Will you stop? Nobody watches the show anymore, and nobody cares if the staff takes cracks at us because they've done it a thousand times before.
>>30732827
I'm not mad. I'm impressed.
>>30732820
This. I enjoyed the episode, but it was pretty obvious someone behind the scenes was buttblasted beyond repair.
>>30732820
S-shut up.
>>30732820
this never would have happened during the jay thiessen years......back when the show was light-hearted
>>30732849
He'll be back after the movie.
>>30732820
I mean you've been whining for seven years, all they did was take like a week to hash out the dialogue. So yes, you're the undisputed king of salt city, the patron saint of sodium chloride, pure salt from your head to your toes.
>>30732934
You, much like the show staff, are projecting.
>>30732820
>they hut maw feewings
STFU faggot, learn to take a joke.
>>30733486
Nope.

I thought it was hilarious and any bronysalt makes the ep better. It was very on the nose.

Quibble Pants was better
A reminder that everypony was asking Applejack for help and gave her a reward, out of all the ponies in Ponyville, for being the best and most dependable pony; she was popular in Applebuck Season, but apparently only now she learns what it's like to be popular?
The song was actually produced seperately, you'll notice it doesnt really fit with the theme of the episode.
It also sounds more natural at 1.25 , as an aside.
>>30734043
I am confused by what Jim said in his reply.
>>30732820
The episode cost about 200000$ to make.
I love DHX.
Your flaw is assuming they did it out of spite instead of just
>"Hey wouldn't it be funny if we threw in a Twilight's wings joke like the fans always make? I bet they'd love that!"
>>30734383
Yeah sure Jim.
>>30732820
>Twilight was better before she had wings

I dunno, I gave it a listen at 1.25x speed and I did not get that impression.

This. So many people are looking as this episode as if it was "BRONIES MAKING FUN OF MY SHOW REEEEEEE, TAKE THAT." Meanwhile it was more like "Haha, let's just kind of put the criticisms into the show that they make all the time. I'm sure they'll know we're just joking but help everyone remember that its all just about enjoying the show".
For me, I'm taking this episode with the same mentality as Slice of Life (Ep. 100), where it wasn't meant to be taken as the most serious episode ever, but more like just a funny, interesting "one off" sort of episode.

Lyra doesn't jump anymore
>>30735056
Yeah, shesits.
>>30734310
>200000$
how did you get this number
>>30735068
How about next time you actually post Lyra instead of some fat fuck
I liked how the episode, mostly the song, allowed the ponies themselves to justify their actions - Rarity admitting she can be vain, Dash admitting her ego goes to her head, Pinkie admitting her humor is sometimes inappropriate to the situation and so on. It was doubly great that by the end of the episode the problem still wasn't resolved. The fans/critic ponies in the show running parallel to us IRL was pretty rad, too. It seems even in Equestria you can't please everybody.

His reply was pretty clear: if you laughed at the fans who were attacked by this episode, you are cool because that was his intention.
But if you felt offended by this episode, it wasn't his fault, wasn't his intention, don't get angry, learn to take a joke, shhh, shhh, praise him or go fuck yourself.

Same. It's proff that booty bothering can produce hilarity.

What the fuck does a writer/story editor like Haber have to do with Jayson Thiessen, an animation director?
>>30734997
I just hate slice of life because of secret agent sweetie drops.
I could not give a fuck about the other complaints.
>>30736683
He's back for season 8, at least I've heard here.
>>30738716
Probably because they are already working on season 8. If they continue to season 9 then Jayson might be back.
>>30739708
> "Maybe it could get better later but as for now please keep watching and supporting it"
That's all what i can read whenever somebody tries to even hint that there's any hopes for something positive.
It was hilarious. I loved it. And I only came here to see all the butthurt from this episode.
>>30742445
Cap this thread so you could go back to derpibooru to brag about this, fatzillo.

He's also writing the finale too. Brace yourself for a glimmering.
