Why is it a problem? Do you actually have a reason to be upset about it or do you just feel like the writers were bullying you? Weird how I made those same criticisms that they mentioned in the episode and didn't feel like the writers were trying to invalidate me. Maybe they just wanted that, while you can acknowledge criticism, you also have to be able to look past it.

And before you freak out, that does not mean ignore criticism. Look past it in the sense that you aren't blinded by hatred of a character growing wings to the extent that you immediately hate everything after, regardless of how irrelevant the wings are to what it is you are hating on.

Again, if anything, only the most autistic of fans should feel personally attacked by this episode. It did not come off as an attack on all criticism, just those that get autistically infuriated by it and cannot look at anything without thinking about it.
