It's like 700k words and I blazed through that story in like 3 days. I thought it was good, even though it has tons of flaws and frustrations.

The premise is that every human in Equestria is a dumb, unintelligent beast. Then an intelligent human ends up in Equestria. Stuff happens.

If you really are interested in GOOD fanfic, and not the other shit posted in this thread, I urge you to look into this. PatchworkPoltergeist has beautiful and incredible writing skills and she turns an otherwise tired premise into a hauntingly compassionate story about characters who are neither special, snowflake, nor lack purpose.

Up to latest chapter. It's about the MC being treated as a monster by ponies and has a voice inside his head. It's one of my favorites.

I want a good 500K word story, one that is truly never finished until the end.

However, I understand the stories that you can never see ending, where there are arcs and plots that have long since passed and you're still trapped in the same story waiting for the next interesting thing to happen.

These stories are rare however, and the long 500K words ones are too short just in the story being so good.

The ends hit hard. More so the longer ones.
