So I guess since this is happening now, let's talk about wizards. Specifically, the OG wizard of MLP, Starswirl the Bearded.
Do you think he's ever going to show up in an episode for real? I know that Season 7 is about legacy, so if there was ever a chance, it would be now. I just don't think that the show would be able to do him justice. To me, Starswirl is the purest wizard who ever lived. He's 'wizard's have no sense of right or wrong' personified.
You guys remember when he challenged a girl to a duel, lost, and then threw the girl into another dimension anyway? Or when he found a pool of acid leaking into the ground and just put up a sign that said 'watch out, magic bullshit' instead of doing anything? That's what I'm talking about. And I don't think the show will go that far.

Starswirl is one of the few pieces of lore that hasn't been explored in any real depth, I hope it stays that way.
I also hope we finally get to hear about some other famous wizards instead of a guy that was made up for a joke back in season 2.
