If you ever see a butchered chicken, the breasts have a small piece of meat underneath them that's ultra soft and sweeter than the actual breast meat. That's the tender.

Those are probably the best part of a chicken in terms of texture and flavour.

What people call tendies are technically chicken nuggets because goujons should be made from the chicken breast and tenders should be made from the tender but idiots buy the processed chicken nuggets as if they are tenders.
