>You messed around in an illusion of a temple.
>After a while, you ate dinner and gave the key you found to a guard.
>Then you went into the castle library, and wandered into some hidden room because luck!
>That's it.
>Really.
>Nothing else you did was really significant.

>For a hidden room, this place is strangely huge.
>Vertically huge, that is.
>There are ladders that go up around here, nothing goes down though.
>You move cautiously towards the figure you saw.
>A stallion trots out from the darkness, he's not wearing any armour.
>"Who are you!? How did you get in here?"
>Well, this is happening.

>How do you reply?
>>
>>30608571
My name is Fleeting Grace and I walked
Don't mention our profession to him just yet. It might spook him.
>>
>>30608571
Hi! I decided to just to walk and saw somepony running! Is thos the secret cult part of the party? Can I join?
Play ourselves dumb.
>>
>>30608571
Surprise attack!
>>
>>30608915
Nah.
We should be ready to pounce if he takes an agressive stance though.
>>
>>30608608
This, then ask his name and how he is doing. It's the polite thing to do.

"Hi! I'm Fleeting Grace! Trotted in here because I saw somepony galloping in here, Is this the secret cult part of the party? Can I join?"
>"What cult? There's no party in here, leave!"
>You feel a slight headache.
>His gaze sharpens.
>"Hmm, he really is here..."
>He mutters really softly, but you're able to hear it.
>You trots closer to you, you can see his deep purple fur.
>"Apologies, I didn't realize. Mind getting your 'friend' in here?"
>Uh... what?
>Wait, did he just read your mind or something!?

>What do you do?
>Ask something?
>Surprise attack him?
>Something else?
>>
>>30608988
You ain't having patches
turn around and grab Patches then run like hell Kick the stallion as you turn around.
>>
>>30609031
Reminder that we are currently alone with the stallion in the hidden room.
>>
>>30608988
Ask what he's trying to get at here, we don't know what he means by"he"just yet.
>>
>>30608988
So there is no party here? What's the point of a secret room if you aren't going to have secret parties?
I also have no idea what you're talking about. Can I have what you're having?
>>
>>30609062
Sure but we could go back out the way we came

"There's no party in here? What's the point of a secret room if you aren't going to have secret parties?"
>You tilt your head slightly.
"Also, I have no idea what you're talking about. Can I have what you're having?"
>"Don't play dumb with me."
"Hmph, who's 'he'?"
>"Your shapeshifting friend. I need to talk to him about a few things."
"I see, can't you let me relay the message instead?"
>"I don't trust you, you being much more unpredictable than other ponies doesn't really inspire trust too."
"Thanks!"
>"Not a complement, but sure."
>You could hear his tail flicking in slight annoyance.
>"Just get him in here, I'm not here to hurt him or anything."
>You're can't tell if he's being entirely truthful here, he hides his emotions well.

>What do you do?
>>
>>30609217
Turn, kick, run.
>>
>>30609217
I am perfectly predictable, thank you ver much, mr. Earth pony sir!
Proceed to run away using our wings for a speed advantage.
>>
>>30609217
boop him. a boop is all you need to know about a person.
How the ridge of their nose scrunches up. the curves of their lip. How crosses their eye's are. The intensity of the scrunchy. All of these can tell you so much.
>>
>>30609223
>>30609262
Rude much? IF he turns out to be trouble for out rag tag party, then we'll kick his as. But we won't run because running away is for scared faggots like you guys
This guy must be another changeling. If that's the case then we'll see how it plays out between Patches and this fellow, as we will be present.
Seriously. What are you guys afraid of? A changeling must weigh like half of that of the average pony.
>>
>>30609217
Who are you, a cop? Another shape shifter? Better gimme some answers before I get miffed.
>>
>>30609284
Boopfags are getting out of hand

"Who are you, a cop? Another shapeshifter?"
>"Just a bug, a friend of the bug you know."
>Hmm... you have the perfect way to learn about this earth pony changeling!
"Uh huh... Boop!"
>You surprise boop him with a hoof!
>He never saw it coming!
>Your hoof was too fast for eyes!
>"Ow! What is wrong with you!? You don't boop someone with that much force!"
>You somehow knocked him down with a boop.
>Eh... whoops?
>...

>What do you do?
>Boop him while he's down?
>Help him up?
>Leave and get Patches here?
>Something else?
>>
>>30609292
He's not exactly being trustworthy by demanding to bring Patches to him with no explanation. We have every right to be suspicious of him. Also, we're afraid cause magic is dangerous.
>>
>>30609475
Find something to restrain him with and then go get patches
>>
>>30609475
Help em up.

>>30609496
You are just so unbelievably rude. We now now that a simple boop is enough to know this guy senseless. We have no need to fear him. Lets just introduce him to Patches.
>>
>>30609475
Help him up.
Sorry, that boop was too strong that time! Can I do another one, gently this time?
I can go get Patches, but you'll have to stay here. I trust him to decide on whether you're nice or naughty.
>>
>>30609496
This.
If we can't find anything restrain him by hand and bring him to patches.

>>30609501
>>30609507

>You thought about restraining him, but with what?
>You're in a library, everything you can find around here is just books.
>Oh, there's also a ladder.
>You trot over to him and pull him up.
>Sheesh, he should've disguised himself as a unicorn, earth ponies aren't supposed to be this weak.
"Sorry, that boop was too strong that time! Can I do another one, gently this time?"
>"No! Now get him here before I force you to!"
>Aw... He's trying to act all tough.
>You pet his head with a hoof.
"Don't worry, want me to kiss the boo boo better?"
>"..."
"Heh, hold on a moment, I'll bring him here. He'll decide whether you're nice or naughty."
>"It's not like I can do anything but wait."
>He moves to the side of a bookshelf and sit down, nursing his bleeding snoot.
>You prepare to trot outside.

>Uh... you're not entirely sure where would he be.
>Since neither Ivory or Patches are reading at a table.
>They must still be between the bookshelves.
>Ivory's probably reading spellbooks somewhere or something.

>Which section do you think Patches will be at?
>>
>>30609584
What do old people like?
>>
>>30609584
romance section > magic > science fiction > Autobiographies.

Ask Ivory if he has seen Patches.
>>
>>30609584
Better idea. Let's have him come to us. Think very loving, lewd, sexy, romantic thought of Grace and Ivory.

That should attract him more then a bee to honey.
>>
>>30609694
Good idea. Let's add up as many loving and lewd thoughts as we can.

>Jeez, this place is huge.
>What do old ponies like again?
>Boring, old stuff?
>Uh... History!
>...You kinda doubt he'll be there.
>You'll think about it from another angle.
>What would somepony that eats love everyday read?
>...Romance books?
>Sure, you trot towards the section filled with romance novels.
>Hmm? You didn't see Ivory as you pass the magic section.

>You enter the romance section of the library.
>Gee, there's so many romance books around it might as well have a room of its own.
>Oh hey! Both of your friends are here.
>Ivory and Patches are both sitting on the carpeted floor...
>They're whispering to each other.
>What the buck are they doing?
>You trot closer, thankful that your hoofsteps are silent.
>"-in't know that this sort of books can be found within the castle."
>"Yeah, it's pretty awesome, isn't it?"
>"I have to say, the plot is surprising good."
>"Just wait till you get to the good part, where-"
>"Don't spoil it."
>"Aw... But I wanted to talk about this sort of stuff for forever!"
>"Be quiet, we're in a library."
>"There's only like, four ponies in this massive library anyway. No one would hear us, even if we bucked."
>"Uh huh, go hump a book then."
>Ivory flips a page of the book he's reading.
>"Hump the books? That's... hmm...."
>Patches adopts a thinking pose.
>"I didn't mean it literally. For an old stallion, you think like a teenager."
>Ivory says without even looking at him.
>"Hey! That's not a bad thing, old ponies are boring! They never know how to have fun in life."
>"And you do?"
>"Yeah! I..."

>Seems like they didn't see you.
>How do you wanna approach them?
>Just trot up to them?
>Move to the next shelf and eavesdrop/surprise them by flying up and jumping down on them?
>Think super loving and sexy thoughts to attract Patches to you?
>Something else?

>>30609714
Moonshine can probably "sense" Grace anyways with his weird sensy powers. Lets go say hi and tell Moon about his friend.
>>
>>30609714
May as well just head over. We wonna get him to his friend right away
>>
>>30609714
I wonder if anypony would hear you if you both humped books and bucked each other actually. I see you two are getting along reading romance together. How sweet and cute!

"I wonder if anypony would hear you if you both humped books and bucked each other actually."
>You speak up, getting Ivory's attention as well.
>Ivory's ear turns to you.
>"Grace please, think of the books, and the paper cuts."
>You gasp dramatically.
"So you were planning on dooming Patches to a fate of getting a thousand painful cuts on his dick!?"
>"Maybe we can avoid that if we hump only the book cover?"
>"Ugh, you two need to stop."
>You poke at the book he's reading, reading a few lines.
>Wew, it said something about a sergeant and a corporal bucking in the sergeant's room.
>Why is Ivory reading this now?
"I see you two are getting along reading romance together. How sweet and cute!"
>"Heh, yeah, 'romance'."
>"Mm..."
"Anyway! I'm here to talk to Patches."
>You massage your neck a little with your left hoof.

>What do you want to say?

Pausing to study for exams, it's gonna happen on Monday, so till then, expect sessions and updates to be short and infrequent.
>>
>>30609920
Tell him there is a friend of his who wants to meet him. Don't give him a chance to react before we rush him over. Don't want any more chance of the friend getting away
>>
>>30609949

"There's a friend of yours that wanted to meet you."
>Before he can react, you trot behind and push him towards the hidden room you were in.
>"Wait, what friend?"
"You'll see when we get there."
>"Where are you going? Should I come along for this?"

>Uh...
>Bring Ivory along?
>Or do you tell him to stay here and wait?

"Sure, S'not like they're gonna talk about anything important."
>He follows you, the book he's reading floats in front of him as he trots behind you.
>"You probably shouldn't read while trotting."
>Patches speaks up, not actually moving as you push him forward.
>Ivory rolls his eyes and moves the book beside him.

>You push him all the way to the wall.
>"Uh, that's a nice wall."
>Ivory comments.
>You push Patches through.
>You wonder how his hooves feel, even though the floor's all carpeted.
>"Whoa, of course you'll end up finding a place like this instantly."
>Ivory mutters as he trots into the room.

>You don't see the changeling around.
>There's a scribbled note on the floor where he was at.

"Come on, he's upstairs."

>Instead of flying up with your wings, you climb the ladder upwards.
>It's a bit hard to climb with the dress.
>"Uh... why are we climbing this? We can fly."
"Because flying is forbidden!"
>"You do realize there are stairs at the back, right?"
>You stop for a moment.
"Wait, there are?"
>Patches points at the stairs behind the bookshelves.
>Ivory is slowly trotting up the stairs while looking through an old-looking book.
"Oh.... We're still climbing this."

>You've climbed to the second floor, there's railings all around to stop silly pones from falling down.
>Ivory isn't here yet.
>The earth pony is messing around with a book on one of the bookshelves.
>A lantern is right next to him, you can see that his mane is green at the moment, and his cutie mark is a few budding seeds.
>You have no idea what he said, but there were chitters.
>He doesn't turn to you two, still messing around with the books.
>"Wait, Three? Why are you here?"
>He immediately turns to you two.
>Eyebrow raised, he makes some sort of amused chitter.
>"Hehe, you approve? I'm still a stallion though!"
>"Ow!"
>You hear Ivory cry out in pain, before a something big falls.
>"I told you not to read while you trot!"
>Patches calls out.

>Something else falls.

"You two have fun, I'll go check on him."
>You trot down the stairs.

>Sheesh, why is there so many rooms on this tiny room?
>You spot Ivory on the bottom of the stairs on the third floor.
>...It appears he has more books with him now, the four books around him has grown to thirteen.
>A huge bookshelf is lying on the stairs.
>How the buck...
>You hop onto the bookshelf.
>One of the shelves is slanted against the wall.
>There are a bunch of books and parchment scattered all over the floor behind him.

>With the faint light from Ivory's horn, you're able to see that the pages are blank.
"Uh huh, and that somehow sent a bookshelf flying onto the stairs. Right... now who's the trouble magnet this time hmmmm?"
>"Hey! The stupid thing was gonna fall on me! Any unicorn would've flung it away, or teleported, or-"
"Right right, you have... a bunch of books with you. You plan on checking them out?"

>He stares at you with one of those blank expressions he loves to give.
>Again.

>You can see...
>Details of a earth pony's magic system.
>How magic in earth ponies work.
>More boring stuff.
>Oh hey! There's a picture of a pony skeleton.

"We need to clean all this up, huh?"
>"You can push the bookshelf back?"
"Eh, fine."

>It takes a while, but the two bookshelves are in a upright position again.

No. I mean quote the post number.

After listening for an amount of time, can we try dislocating a leg and try to wiggle our way out of the bonds? I want Grace to hide behind the door with rope and wait for them to return and attack Agent 47 style....
....i want her to hide and wait behind the door and wait to strangle someone with a length of rope.

How exactly are the ropes secured to the legs and wings? Which legs?
>>
>>30652309
What are the quality of the door? How thick? Are they frail? Good quality? Is there anything in this room coarse enough to rub the ropes against?

>There's a sorta okay looking bed next to you.
What kind? Is it just a mat on the floor? Hay with a bed sheet over it? Is it one of those wall beds suspended by chains?

I wonder how much Grace can see in this dark.

>You look down at the bindings.
>It seems like they bound your forehooves together, and your hindhooves together.
>And there's ropes bound around your torso, you can't feel the knot on your belly, so it's probably on your back.
>Funnily enough, the bed isn't a mat, or one of those beds you see in jails.
>It's just a normal bed with a metal frame and a mattress on it.
>There's no pillows though, shame.
>You silently drag yourself to the door.
>There's a knob and a keyhole below the knob.
>It appears that the door is... medal.
>Great.
>If it were wood, you can just break it down.
>Well, you can still try breaking it down anyway.
>A shot is better than anything, right?
>Though you have no doubt that the sound will attract attention.
>Bending slightly, you press your ear to the small crack between the door and the walls.
>...
>You hear nothing.

>Looking closely, you notice that the walls seemed relatively old.
>Moving to the west side of the room, assuming the door is north, you press your ear against the wall.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?"
>"No. I'm surprised you can hear me, these walls are thin, huh?"
"Do you know what's going on?"
>"No, there were multiple ponies that captured us. They left Ivory alone for some reason, because he isn't here."
"What do we do?"
>"I'm not sure, I can shapeshift and free myself, but then I'll still be stuck in this room. I can't detect anyone around right now, so I assume we're either in some obscure location, or everypony is at least two floors above us."

You can use your magic? Bummer.
If Grace can get out of her bindings, she might be able to break down the door, but it will probably attract attention.

So just the matress? No bed sheet?

"Hey, you there?"
>"Yeah?"
"Can't you teleport outside?"
>"Yeah, sure, if I want to end up teleporting into a wall. There's a reason that most unicorns need line of sight to actually use this spell, you know."
"Can you like, shapeshift yourself some lockpicks?"
>"...How the buck does that even work? I can't do that, I don't even know how to pick a lock."

>"Too late for that! They really should've gave you that note last night! Their problem now!"

>Right right...
>It's mostly the same as what the guard told you, except it tries to be intimidating and threatening.
>500k bits to some house in the city by this night, no guards, no other pony can get involved, yada yada yada...
>Or else they can't guarantee her safety.

>Scrunching, you see that aunt Grace just booped you.
>And she's on top of you, on the couch.
>Great.

"See... what?"

>"Well, that's their problem now! I say we just bring them five hundred, which that bag had more than enough by the way."
>She points at the bag of bits that was moved to the table.
>"Give them the five hundred, and let the guards deal with them once we have Grace back."
>...You kinda doubt this is how things work.

>How do you use the metal to break the wall down?
>>
>>30671499
What exactly are the cracks like? I forget.
>>
>>30671499
Back against the wall and stab the first fucker that enters, then buck the wall between you and Patches and hope it crumbles.

2 v 2
>>
>>30671499
Or throw the first pony to enter through the wall.
Don't be afraid to strangle someone and use them as a hostage.
>>
>>30671499
Of all the things. Why did you guys choose to use the bed frame made of metal bars? Those are typically hollow, so they make poor blunt weapons unless they have some weight to them. Oh and break the wall then wait for someone to enter.
>>
>>30671499
Stick it in a crack and shimmy it around.
Waiting for somebody to come in seems silly.

Oh.

And what makes you think poking the wall will help? If the wall is as fragile as you think it is, then bucking it, then bucking at the center of the crack should be enough.
Or maybe it'll only take a single buck against the wall.
Bucking the lodged metal piece might hurt the frog of the hoof. Just my thoughts.

>"I was hungry! And you were dreaming about something nice... so... sorry?"
"Yeah yeah! Whatever, how hard can breaking a wall be?"
>"...You do know that saying that will only cause you pain in the end."

>Even though it's so dark, doing something like this should be no problem!
>Using what little strength you have, you attempt to pierce the wall with the rod.

>And everything is almost pitch black.
>......

>"What's taking so long?"
"Just hold on a sec!"
>...
>Found it!
>Okay, making sure you've properly gripped the metal piece this time, you try to pierce the wall!
>Huzzah!
>There's a short metal rod lodged in the wall now.

>Buck the rod?
>Pull the rod out and buck the wall?
>Ram the wall?
>Use the rod and do something else?
>Do something else completely different?
>>
>>30671672
A sheet of glass is also fragile, but it's a lot easier to shatter with a spike. One weak point can compromise the entire thing.
>>
>>30671727
WHat the fuck? Piercing the wall with the rod is the last thing that should happen, and bucking the rod shouldn't even be a suggestion. If it's a rod then it will hit the frog, which is fleshy and not at all hard. The only way bucking would be any ways possible is if Grace was wearing metal shoes.
Fucking dammit QM. Just buck the wall. Patches better make himself useful and go vampire on those ponies with the emotion sucking.
>>
>>30671714
Yes
>>
>>30671727
Just pull it out and buck the wall. No need to mess about unless that does not work.
>>
>>30671727
Did we pierce all the way through?
>>
>>30671746
Did seem a bit odd that we started with the rod when the majority wanted to just Buck. Should have been Buck then mess around with the rod if that did not work.
>>
>>30671746
We could buck it sideways instead of straight on.
>>
>>30671736
But we just lost a lethal weapon. Maybe the wall was fragile enough to buck. Then again the leg has suffered some damage.
>>30671727
>>30671755
This. It should come out as easy as it came in. Then tackle it so you don't damage the leg further.

>>30671762
Think we can have a little retcon? Bucking or tackling, it's dark and she might stab herself wit the rod.
>>
>>30671736
I am no scientist but I think glass is special with that.
>>
>>30671766
It was dumb that we did not open with the buck but no retcons. That would be sumb.
>>
>>30671746
Yup, bucking the rod, in total darkness, is thrown in as a joke suggestion that will only hurt you. Patches would've stopped you if people voted for it. You're not even wearing any sort of horseshoe, so... you can imagine the pain Grace will feel, with her strength and all.

>>30671762
Thing is, I've already wrote 90% of it and didn't wanna rewrite everything. Sorry?
>>
>>30671767
Nope, it's basic physics. Any damage can sere as a weak point to make further damage.
>>
>>30671727
Just pull it out and buck it.
>>
>>30671780
Sure but it won't shatter like glass.
I suppose the hole will make it easier to buck.
>>
>>30671785
This is ideal since that part of the wall is now weaker.
>>
>>30671788
Easier to buck open that is.
>>
>>30671788
That's about the elasticity of the material. Shattering only happens with very inelastic things.
>>
>>30671788
>>30671792
True. It is weaker now.
The main concen was not opening with the buck that could have worked on its own lost us time. If it failed then we should have spent time weakening it.

>>30671798
The downside of bucking first and failing is that we could've hurt ourself.

I dunno. Bucking just seems a more pony thing to do.
I suppose a tackle is less likely to fuck us up.

>"Uh, soundproof barrier... teleportation... silencing spell... sleep, blind, bind, illusions, stuff like that, you know?"
These are the spells we know patches can perform, but he may not be able to do any of them as he admitted to feeding on Grace due to hunger.
What if we pretend to love Patches to help power him up? Would that help? Maybe he could tell us something about himself to make it more convincing.
I'm not worried by the wing since that's probably a bruise from the rope, but I don't like the leg cut no matter how deep or shallow. With Patches light can we tell the severity of the wound?

Try and get down the door to patches room.
Don't be seen in the area before the exchange. It might cause problems.
>>
>>30676401
You sure that's a good idea? Patches was able to muffle Grace's room, but I doubt he did his own. Why break that one down instead of Grace's door, which has been confirmed to be muffled?

>Don't be seen in the area before the exchange. It might cause problems.
Unless we beat up the kidnappers before then.

>You're Grace, and you're currently standing on a metal door.
>With the buggo's help, you've broken down the door.
>It was very eventful, and very offscreen.
"So... if I can give you the energy to cast more spells, and you can put ponies to sleep... can't we just put everypony to sleep?"
>"Yeah sure, it'll be more effective if they don't notice us too."
"......I'm just going to suffocate you with happy feels now."
>You hop onto him and wrap your hooves around his neck.

"O, ye of little faith. Just watch me."

>The light above you flickers brightly.
>There's a door across the room you were in.
>Looking to your right, you see a wall.

LOOT THE CABINET MOTHERFUCKER
Check to see if the wall to the right is hollow or if there's a secret switch. You'll only look stupid if there's no such mechanism so fingers crossed. Or hooves I guess?
I don't trust the door across from us to not croak like a dying frog, so unless we have some grease or Patches knows a greasing spell, I think we should pass on opening the door until we investigate the hall that leads to a bigger room.
Don't forget to be sneaky.
>>
>>30679170
Check the cabinet for oil or grease. If there is some then we can use that to either spill on the ground while people are pursuing us, or apply to the door hinges (if they're visible on this side). If we can't apply the grease -if there is any- to the hinges then ask Patches if he can cast another spell on the door. We should be able to tell if it'll be squeaky when you open it.
>>
>>30679170
I still want to see what a 100% fem Patches would look like.

>For some reason.
>It's even shaped like the sun and the moon!
>"Hey, seems like this door leads upstairs."
>Patches pokes at the door across the room you were in.
"It's not locked or anything?"
>"Nope, just really rusted."
>You leave them be for now, and trot to the side to push it away from the door.

>You turn to Patches.
"You'll tell me if anypony is approaching or nearby, right?"
>He nods at you.
"Great!"
>You look around the area once more.

>Hmm... clearly, the wall is hiding away some secret!
>You knock on the wall with a hoof.
>It doesn't sound hollow?
>"What are you doing?"
>Turning back, you see that he's looking at the cabinet that you've opened.
"Checking for secrets?"
>"Ah."
>Welp, you can't find any sort of secret here.

>Your wing stings as some sort of cloth tries to clean it.
>Patches applies some sort of medicinal paste to your wing.

>...Anyway!
>Moving the magnets away from the box, you flick it open with a wing.
>You open the toolbox!
>Each compartment is full of screws and nails.
>You didn't know there were that many types of screws.
>In another compartment under the ones holding the nails and screws, you find a hammer, a wrench, a crowbar, screwdrivers, and other things you'll usually find in a toolbox.
>Clearly, a giant metal door isn't good enough.
>You don't want to hurt ponies too badly with that.
>Something small to knock them out will have to suffice.
>Guess the wrench works!

>Alright!
>You now have proper equipment to face off against the dastardly villains that dared to capture you.
>All you need is a suit of armour or something you'll look like some sort of adventurer.
>...
>The mental image of an adventurer wielding a wrench and door is kinda...
>Fun.
>Yes, let's go with that.
>Anyway, moving on!

>You trot down the hall.
>Trotting into the room, you see many stacks of crates.
>"I thought this was a normal house, are we in a warehouse or something?"
>Oh hey! Your clothes are on one of the crates.
>Probably shouldn't wear them though, don't wanna accidentally tear them.
>Hmm...
>Wanna open up the crates somehow?

Let's just open some crates.
>>
>>30684462
>tiny pouch

>You don't want to hurt ponies too badly with that.
Let's switch to the crowbar. It's their fault for kidnapping us. We can't afford to be gently. And how are we wielding the crowbar and door?
>>
>>30684462
Look around for more bags to carry stuff. See if there are any labels or manifestos for the crates.

>You need a crowbar...
>...
>Welp, time to head back and get the crowbar.
>Using your good wing, you drag the door all the way back to the cabinet.
>What, It's bigger than you!
>The door is like, three times your size!
>How else are you suppose to carry it?
>Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, it's probably about two times your size, give or take?
>It's not like you can measure it anyway.
>But hey, seeing a pony like you dragging a metal door like it's nothing must be pretty intimidating, right?
>Spitting the wrench next to the tool box, you use your mouth to carry the crowbar with you.
>It's a good thing that nothing in the toolbox is rusted.

>Heading back to the room, you crack open one of the crates.
>Looking at around the crate you've picked at random, you spot a label saying it's crystals from the mines.
>Huh, guess the place stores a bunch of materials?
>Crystals used in many tools count as materials, right?
>You used the crowbar to open the crate.
>It's surprisingly easy to open it, the top cover just kinda flew off.
>Dust covers your face.
>You back off, coughing uncontrollably.
>A closer inspections shows that the wood is actually rotting.
>And the crate is actually empty.

>What do you do?

Guess I've picked a poor time to run. Welp, have a nice day and stuff,
>>
>>30684973
Keep looking through the other crates for anything that could be useful and check all their labels.
Are there any other entrances down here besides the one we came from?

Ask Patches if he'd like a weapon. There is the crowbar, hammer, wrench, three of the bed stabbing rods. If we find a crate that's not rotted, we can make him a nailed board kind of weapon.
>>
>>30684973
Check the dress for any tears and rips. If those jerks made even the smallest scratch, we'll give em a real woopin.

>What.
>Why is this here.
>You have several questions.
>And no, there's nothing hidden in the hay.

>Anyway, standing on top of the crates, you look around the area for any other entrances and stuff.
>And you don't see anything of interest.
>Why are the lights on anyway?
>There doesn't seem to be anypony hanging around here.
>Well then, you hop down and check mom's dress for any damages.
>If there's even a tiny scratch on it...
>It appears to be fine, there's dust on it, but that's probably from you opening the crates.

>"Hey. You done? We're wasting time here."
"I guess, you want a weapon?"
>You point at the door with a wing.
>"I don't need a weapon."
"Suit yourself."
>Door, you shall be missed.
>Think you'll come back for the clothes after dealing with whoever that threw you in here.
>And with that, you leave the area and head back to the hall.

>Open and go through the rusted door now?
>>
>>30688655
Ask if he senses anybody before we do anything. No need to be surprised in this situation.
>>
>>30688655
first let's upgrade the crowbar.
go look for duct tape. if there is some then grab the three rods and duct tape them to the straighter end of the crowbar.
and ditch the door. dragging it will alert the bad ponies of our presence, and having Patches cast more silencing spells just to keep the door would be a waste of magic and lowers chances of escaping. Patches would agree.
>>
>>30688655
Head on in. Try and burst in rappidly if at all possible.
>>
>>30688724
I disagree with the weapon upgrade. We want something quick and easy to swing. No need for a polearm.
>>
>>30688724
>>30688733
I can't decide which I prefer. Both options have merrit.
Anybody else wanna weigh in and break the tie?
>>
>>30688655
Grab a mana crystal and blow this Popsicle stand, you've got ninja but to kick and a husbando to rescue.

Good bye door, you will be missed.

also yea no weapon upgrade needed.
>>
>>30688754
There was only hay in that box.
>>
>>30688655
Not this >>30688728
They would hear us the minute they notice the loud clipping of hooves.
I suggest a more stealthy approach. Go to the mattress and tear up the surface into pieces and wrap them around Grace's (and possibly Patches's if he wants to conserve magic) hooves to muffle the sounds of clipping hooves. Or if it's not an issue Patches can cast the muffling spell on the both of them instead.
>>30688733
There is nothing quick and easy about a cumbersome weapon that's larger than its wielder. Here are my thoughts on my the door is only a novelty of a weapon, and not as useful as you may think it to be. For one it was noted that Grace was dragging the door with her good wing, which might mean she couldn't be stealthy and carry it on her back. And it would fall off her back if she goes up the stairs.
Second. It's a terrible weapon in narrow rooms. You can't swing a weapon like that around without it getting lodged in a wall.

>>30688754
That's a little meta to assume Grace knows what a mana crystal can do, but for the heck of it I suggest she empties her bag and fills it with mana crystals, nails and screws. One one side it could blow up like a fragmentation grenade. On the other it's a weighty heavy object to swing around with the chance of the screws and nails poking through the bag.
>>
>>30688733
>>30688754
Awe man. But why not the upgrade? I seriously though it would be a cool upgrade. Not only would it be a bludgeoning weapon, it would also double as a piercing one too.
>>
>>30688728
This ain't no vidya guy. These ponies are serious. We need to go Double 07 or Splinter cell on these fools.
>>30688655
Does any of the medicine contain any of the stuff that knocked us out? Maybe we could use that against or kidnappers. Ask Patches how he identifies the meds.
>>
>>30688780
What. When I said I disagree with the weapon upgrade I meant making it longer. I agree the door was a poor choice.

Fair point. They would be very suspicious about opening the door for anyone.
Put the dress in the bag and have Patches turn the sexiest mare or stallion form he can make. We can't use the dress as a prop as they have already seen it.

>He knocks on the door.

>His voice is pretty darn cute.
>You stay behind the door as it opens.
>"What's a little colt like you doing here? It's dangerous around here."
>"A sorta deep voice replies.
>"I'm here to sell scout cookies! My special talent lets me detect where ponies are! So everypony just made me do all the work on my own..."
>"Huh, cute. You don't need to wear the uniforms these days?"
>"Actually... we're still supposed to wear them. But it's so hot around here! Please don't tell?"
>"Heh, sure. Where's the cookies? What kind you have?"
>You could see a teal hoof petting Patches' mane.
>"U-uh... about that... I sorta... lost them. B-but I need to fill the quota! Or they'll kick me out! A-and mom and dad would disown me! An-and..."

>"As fun as it may be, ending up in an orphanage isn't one of my priorities."
"What's the problem? Just direct them to a house, preferably yours, and thank and say goodbye to them before going in!"
>"But that would cause rumors, and I'll have to make more lies, soon, things will just go badly. More badly than usual anyway."
>This is why they should work in pairs, having another changeling around would make things easier.
>Wait, can't three changelings just work together?
>A fake family, cute adventurous colt that keeps getting lost equals love for the whole family!
>Or is that not enough or something?

"Anyway, I'm kinda disappointed. I was hoping to do some head bashing, but this is fine too, I suppose."
>"There's another pony somewhere in there that's awake, beat him or her up instead."
