Honestly the ending is pretty vague I doubt you need to change anything besides just adding shit at the end. Here is a basic summary of what could make it a happy ending.

>paramedics pumped her gut before she could die
>Rarity goes to see her sister in the hospital
>SB wakes up when rarity is there
>Tells her sister she's become a monster and lets her heart out to Rarity

This story bugs me because some of it's a little bit good but otherwise it's not good
Spoilers in case you want to read it

I don't fully agree with all of that criticism, but it is clearly made to be a feels dump. There's not much subtlety, it's just tragedy after tragedy.
