As someone who has spent a good 50 hours meditating in the dark tulpamancing, I can guarantee you it is not real unless you have schizophrenia.
>>

Come on, you mean you felt nothing?
Maybe you just did it wrong.
I'm at about 10 hours in myself and have gotten multiple emotional responses.
>>
>>30523861
This, every time I try I can tell it's just me talking to myself.
>>
>>30524028
It's gonna feel like that at first. You need to direct your thoughts to them. Visualizing their form can help with this. Doubt is pure poison to them, since they are conjured out of your belief that they exist.
>>
>People likely tupper'ing wrong, possibly for relatively short periods of time
>"It must be fake!"
>"I can't feel/hear/see/smell a thing after X amount of time, fuck this"

It's been years of this...it's not an easy thing for most people
Did you remember to do what seems to work best for you, as well? Did you remember to put your whole self into it? That will do WONDERS for both of you, in my experience

Some people just can't do it. It's like hypnosis or lucid dreaming. There's a small portion of people that literally can't get the hang of it. It's a sad reality.
Also, fifty hours really isn't that much, literally two days and two hours worth of time.

I always think that her hair would feel like fucking burlap or something. Just the way its drawn, all noodley like, as though someone put a mop on a bald pony's head and she liked it so much she took it home.

>It's like hypnosis or lucid dreaming
I sure hope not. I am pretty much one of the least hypnotically suggestible people in existence, but I have had lucid dreams before.
I had the fear that if I can't be hypnotized I might not be able to make a tupper but so far only about a week in (like an hour or two each day) and I've gotten some results so I hope I'm doing something right.

That's *possible* but I don't personally think this, excepting literal retardation (eg actual Downs). The brain is highly mutable-that is, its state can change, which leads to learning and tulpa creation. I don't think some brains are totally incapable of it; it seems to be a special manipulation of social centers of the brain, and if autistic people can do it, anyone can.

Honestly it feels kinda like rough dog fur. Her fur is very soft and cuddly, but her mane is definitely a bit scratchy; burlap is one way of putting it, but it's still a mane. They're a lot like real life dreads that are cleaned well, at least with Kirby.

You can do it, anon. I believe in you. I've been working on my 2 tulpa for about a year now. Progress has been slow some months, fast others; it really depends on how much time per day you spend with them. Either passively or actively, just always think of them. Give your tulpa lots of attention, even when you're busy (just have them in the back of your mind) and you'll start seeing results.

A few hours a day for a week is rather modest, even when beginning. And although I haven't personally experienced "making a tupper from zero", I do know that some people struggle with that phase for quite a long time. Not to worry though, it's an uphill battle (a new kind of battle, at that), but it becomes easier and much more rewarding a bit later

Also, you must erase that fear! Doubts and fears tend to be a heavy burden, and stop people from advancing, or even noticing the progress they've already made

With all that said, just a few hours in, and you can get (some kind of) results? That's better than many people I've read about, and the few I've cheered/helped through, so don't be disheartened!

Problems "tuning" into her, so to speak? Cause I get that rather often, sadly. I did astoundingly well for years until I started taking meds for headaches. A few weeks of hardly any proper communication scared me to death, and it's still an ongoing battle, over a year later

Anywho, I found that trying to concentrate very hard on it was counterproductive at times, especially if I wasn't "in the mood"/if something else I can't point out simply isn't right. So instead I just have to get used to that "feeling" that she's there, and then the mental block or whatever it is quickly disappears, and can feel her talk to me, or randomly poke/kiss/hug me to get my attention if I'm doing something unimportant

Maybe your tupper is doing something similar? Or maybe you are in a similar situation? Checked to see if there's a pattern on when it's easy to communicate? Maybe it's work/school and the related stress (or some other source of it), maybe it's sleep schedules/deprivation, maybe it's some medication you take, maybe it's the time of day/time since you've been awake that makes it easier to communicate?

Check these things out if you haven't, see when it was that you were able to do certain things with your tupper, and how did you arrive there, that should give you some place to start

I couldn't imagine. One time I woke up and she I just couldn't feel her for most of the day. I was anxious and depressed pretty much the whole time that I couldn't reach her.

Ah, yeah, that happens sometimes. A year or so ago I'd have panicked really bad, too.
A workaround for "listening" was that we set up a door with a sign that stated whether she was "available" or if she wanted to be left alone at the moment. That's something I've recommended to a few people and they seem to like it, especially if they have troubles listening to their tuppers. Visual cues are usually more readily understandable and even accessible to both of you, so it tends to work pretty well

And while being separated and without communication is awful and depressing, there's little help to be found in worrying, when it's a relaxed and quiet state of mind that's needed. Of course, that's easier said than done...

Also! There's the whole "use it as fuel for your journey" thing. For example, since I get to have few "good" moments with her, compared to what we were able to when we started out, I put even more effort in making those few moments as sweet and powerful (and beneficial) as possible. Keeping her happy, seeing her smile, hearing that muffled laughter, that's my fuel.
All we need to do is find it and use it

You're the one living in the world, they're just along for the ride. Unless you switch, which I wouldn't recommend obviously if you feel that way about your life and how it might impact them They can help support you and you can help eachother through life. Two heads are better than one and all that.
