How does /mlp/ feel about AU's?
(Alternative Universes. Where certain characters or themes are swapped or made completely different)
(Made popular thanks to undertale fandom but the concept has existed for a long time)

No thanks.

Wow, did you get so anally wrecked the first time you made this that you decided to try again?
>>30497698
>wahh the OP deleted the thread I wanted to insult him on so I'm going to reupload it to cause more drama so I can get my fill of tendies for tonight
Reason I deleted it was because I wanted to discuss it with people who enjoy MLP, clearly that's not what I got. And reported.
>>30497716
Shitting up a thread isn't going to get it deleted, old OP. You're just going to get yourself b&, then we'll discuss your stupid thread after you're gone.

>then we'll discuss your stupid thread after you're gone.
*WHEEZE*
>>30497698
Most of them are so obvious and unimaginative that it hurts.
>>30497733
You mean the one where Twilight became an alicorn and got a student called Starlight?
/thread
>>30497736
Fuck off, old OP.
Lel, I actually got a warning for announcing that report. At least that means I know the thread isn't going to be deleted and you're stuck with it staying up.
Idea for a general.
What Could Have Been
/wchb/
We discuss how things could have different or done on the show, maybe even the franchise as a whole.
>>30497747
get fukt m8
lel let's cock vore u
>>30497747
That's all our """moderation""" does, they don't delete shit unless it's porn or fun.
Why do you think the board is full of poochie and shitpost threads that never die?
Some dickless wonder /b/irdshit faggot will see it about to 404 and go 'Lol xDDD nope'
>>30497698
Depends on how you execute the concept.
If it's done nicely it'll be nice.
If it's done poorly it'll be shit.

You've haven't read any fanfiction, ever, have you?
>>30497698

In recent years alone I can point to Gravity Falls as having a massive amount of AU content and that's just one show.
The number of stories on fanfiction.net alone, not even counting crossovers, goes into the millions.
>>30497698
i believe theyre largely pointless. the story doesnt change, the characters simply swap places. a rose by any other name and all that.
