Rules: [GMs can use any system they wish, the following is a rough gist of what everyone has been doing and how well they are at it]
Day Planner- Each day divided into 3 slots. Morning, Afternoon and Evening. Briefly describe what you do in each usually a sentance or two long about what you decide to do. Be it a job, a quest or just being a neet working on invention you'll slowly work and increase you skills over time!
Skill increases are based on Tier System with each daily progress put towards reaching those Tiers up to a max of 5. For every Tier gained in a skill you gain an ability and a bonus to your roll involving that skill. Quests allow for double skill gains based on what you did on it. While jobs allow you to slowly increase skills while making money all the while. [Note if other Gms wish to use different systems they are well within their rights to.]

Census Rules: This allows you to not only apply yourself to the town registry, but also keep track of the kingdoms' stats when it comes time for the updates in thread. Each phase is handled as Upkeep, Improvement, Economic and then Event. Improvement and Economic phase are where players will be given the option of voting on the improvments to the town, what to build in the area and of course colonizing the wilds around us! While Economic allows for the players to donate any bits they have earned to help fund the town! Every 1k Gold Bits equates to 1 Base Point for building or colonizing the lands around us.

The clock turns ever so slowly as time passes thr- oh look the ponies of the town are bickering again. Lets take a peek inside to see what is the fuss this time around shall we?

Truly these ponies are the best that humanity had to offer, of course considering the drawing pool it shouldn't be much of a surprise. However with efforts from the local Equestrian Embassy, one Winter Gust was able to set up a contest between the three rival groups of Weather's Feathers, Dandy Men, and Tea Totallers for a three way dance off with the prize a certificate declaring that the owner has the full right to declare who shall be best pony. Thankfully the dance off has been a success thus far, though there are rumors that the losers are plotting something sinister for this weeks winners the Dandy Men.

In other news local noble pony Beastly Belle is still asking for the town to construct a watch tower on the coastal area near the river for the ships to make safe harbor during the night hours. Locals would also happen to see Beauty Belle talking with many of the craft ponies in town one of which is our very own Cotton Quilt! When asked for questions about the subject matter Cotton was rather flustered before explaining that Beauty Belle might be interested in funding a shop for clothes for Cotton to work in! How generous indeed! Though critics would speculate that this generosity is merely a power play to insure that Equestrian interests are covered by right of ownership. None the less there might be more details on this later...

In other news the Embassy has posted notices to the ponies of Outer Hayven asking them to please do not shoot fireworks at the Embassy building as there could be fires started as result. After the recent celebration of the 4th of July local guard was drafted into work for clean up of used ordance. For now it's up to the local ponies to decide on what they wish to do now!

Heck, there were even talks about it in #gamesandlorediscussion, if t'was possible to construct both the road/bridges and the spice farm. Sorry for the issue there friendos, I checked the records and the road and farm had already been bought as stated before, calculations have been amended for that as well. In addition to the slight mess up the bridge will have already been built in with the new farm. As a result of the farm being built up on the spice hex it will not reduce consumption, it will instead be providing a resource buff aka +1 to Economic stat to the town.

Well, after finally getting the backstory for my pony done I'd like to run an adventure to get her into town in the next couple of days.
As for things for others to enjoy, I'd like to get something going a couple nights a week. I tend to enjoy more old style adventurin' and dungeon-crawlin' type games when I run them - I'll have to spend the week chatting with people about what they'd like to see on these things (I tend to focus on exploration with some combat thrown in).
Goals would be initially based around securing resources for the players/town, making the local area more safe, and investigating strange ruins/areas/happenings. But it will in the end depend on what the town wants to focus on and what players will like doing.
