My favorite things about this show:
-Luna's hair right here. Luna, in general, to be honest.
-Despite being a kid's show, it's very Capitalistic; Luna actually being able to screw a school out of getting funding by being a grouch. The ponyville school house actually needs donations rather than being covered by some sort of socialistic nonsense.
-They don't shy away from demonstrating how easy it is to start a racial hate movement (The Vampire Fruit Bat Incident). It was a little chilling how Applejack 'Adolpha' of the Apple Clan suggested that they needed to be stopped from living their lives normally, but it was important to see that for children.
-Daybreaker's cool.
-Twilight never gets treatment for her anxiety, while ensuring that Fluttershy is forced out of her comfort zone so that she can get over hers.
