I got on the ride from the very beginning. Then, after season two I just lost interest in the show, stopped going on /mlp/, and eventually dropped the chan alltogether. Possibly the most prosperous time in my life.
Started going to /fit/ while in the military last year, and thought I might take a look at /mlp/ too, and here I am. There's no way I'm getting off the ride now, want it or not.

I did lazy hack math, and figured out it takes about 72 hours, give or take a few, to watch everything from season 1 to current. Of course I'm guessing not every season has the same amount of episodes as season 1 and season 7 is still ongoing so that shaves time off.

I think there's like a %99.999 chance it's the only entire season that I ever watched more than once too. That being said, 4chan's traffic has spiked recently thanks to /pol/ going and using dank internet memes to get a tangerine wearing a wig in the White House, and a lot more people are interest in 4chan these days. We may be seeing some people leaking out of the higher traffic boards like /pol/ and /v/ and investigating places like /mlp/ out of curiosity, then they might get into the show and stick around for a while.
It's a natural cross-pollination of web-traffic and inter-board immigration, nothing to worry about. 4chan is an incredibly cynical place with a black sense of humour, it doesn't take long for the nihilism to affect people and bring them down to our level. Don't worry about it, Anon.
