Well, the saddest thing for me was to hear words "I don't really care about MLP anymore" from Pan actually.
And since I don't really follow all these guys to be able to distinguish them just by voices - I might be wrong, but in MLP: The Movie talk Pan sounded like he was genuinely out of touch with MLP, Saberspark sounded like a faggot ("I'll be honest with you, I didn't even know MLP is still a thing") and Paleo sounded like he was damage controlling hard for some reason - like he's very informed about the current MLP, but often adds some unnecessary crap like "well since I had a history wtih the fandom", "I'll watch it as an obligation", "I'll watch it because it's a 2D movie" and such.

I hung out with Saber, Paleo, and ACRacebest at Whinny City 2015 and 2016 and the impression I got was Saber was pretty cool but a bit too demanding from people around him, Race was excessively outgoing but otherwise an okay guy who liked to talk to fans who came up to him (especially kids), and Paleo was a fucking autist nerd who was only comfortable if he had his nose buried in his phone and never liked to talk or carry on a conversation with anyone directly, especially when he was at a restaurant or with a small gathering of people he didn't know.

I was a huge fan of the Bronies React series for a while but meeting all these folks in person really ruined that for me. I still love the show and like the fandom, but sometimes folks like these are a classic example of "never meet your heroes."

I chased down Eurobeat (Odyssey) after his set at Whinny City in 2012 and talked to him a bit. Granted, I was pretty drunk (having the time of my life at my first Pony con listening to a lot of great 2011-2012 music), but I asked how his Soundcloud (or whatever) worked when people donated. He said he pushes all of it into letting fans have more free downloads, so I gave him a few $20 bills as thanks for his stellar set, told him I've been listening to his stuff almost religiously since he started doing music in the Pony scene, said he's more than earned it, and that I hope he makes a lot more music.

And he did. I would love to've heard him make some music based on Rainbow Rocks and more of the later show songs (His version of "Our Town" was pretty good), but that ship sailed, and that's fine.

I've seen him a bunch of times since, hung out a little bit with him in groups of "brony musicians" and frankly he's one of the most personable, professional folks I've met in the fandom. Articulate, thoughtful, and very professional. He could be batting much higher than he does professionally but I think he values having fun and feeling personally satisfied with his work/play balance. He's a great dude who's also a real person that knows how to be thankful for fans that are both thankful for what he's given to them freely, and enjoys but doesn't take for granted the attention he's gotten. I hope he does very well in his career and into the future.

Well if it makes you feel better, Travis (and his GF) still watches MLP from time to time.
He also did make a "ponybeat" for one of the songs of Season 6.
