There's nothing funny about just seeing somebody fall over, unless they're fat.
There has to be some kind of setup or circumstance that makes it funny.
If Spike getting hurt were actually a joke it would be the most overused joke in the series.
I fucking hate Spike but that doesn't mean I enjoy watching him sustain injuries while everybody laughs.
