Long, long ago. In the before times (like, back when Lauren Faust was involved and the show had a soul), there were jokes about Celestia who wanted to fuck Twilight called Molestia. Because come on. Humour.

Anyway, those jokes ranged from pretty inoffensive to very offensive (to the sorts of people who don't have any sense of actual humour).

And JJ made a Ask Pony blog based around basically the least offensive representation of this joke possible.

The blog was less molestation and more pretty canon Celestia if she let her hair down and had a sex drive. It was never explicit, but usually suggestive, and the worst she ever did was play grab ass or lick a horn of a willing participant once every ten posts. So nothing that would have been out of place in the Carry On films.

Whether it was actually good or funny is a matter of opinion. I'm of the view that JJ's above average art style was the best thing about it and that it was otherwise barely worth attention, but it must have tickled some people's funny bones (hem-hem) for being so well-received. And yknow, different strokes.

Enter the dried up cunts of the internet. The sorts of people who cut themselves, worry about 'microaggressions' and looking to be offended because its the only rush they can get. They decided to take issue with the name Molestia, after it had been running for so long that Molestia honestly rarely did anything sexual at all anymore or even really showed up (it had long ago shifted to focusing on Luna because you can really only make so many jokes around "Ha! She touched his bum!).

JJ shut it down because he was getting hate mail over the name from aforementioned uppity cunts and again, barely used the character on the blog anymore.

So now you know! Pointless drama over a cartoon character whom occasionally touched an ass. Thank fuck none of these people ever saw Pepe Le Pew, or they'd shriek so hard people would be able to figure out what their original genders were.

I mean, I would say that there really comes a point where you're going to peak drawing one thing. And when the one thing you're drawing is *fairly* simple cartoon horses, that peak is going to be reached sooner than later.

JJ does good art. Thats about all that could be said about him.

Remember that the key to improving is challenging yourself. Dont just draw ponies. Draw other shit too.

Hell, you can keep it pony themed if you like. Try to draw every species in the show. Try to draw all the cast as minotaurs! Just anything to stretch yourself.
