Last 3 episodes of season 7 will be the series first three parter. Chrysalis takes Sunburst's place to get her revenge on Starlight for reforming the changelings back in season 6. Its why Sunburst hasn't appeared on screen for the most part of season 7. When Sunburst (as Chrysalis) finally shows up on screen, the audience will not suspect he's behaving suspiciously because no one knows how Sunburst canonically behaves on screen when he hangs out with Starlight.
